We stayed here for three nights while visiting Dar. I would return if we needed to get to and from the airport quickly, but otherwise, I would try to find a different budget spot in the city. It's cheap (we paid 50,000/= for a double room) but paying for cabs to and from the city center is just as expensive... More

A dreadful place to stay. The rooms are cramped, old and horrible. The wet room/shower is a dribble, no more. Worst, the place has loads of mosquitos and the net protection on the windows is not adequate. Then the bed nets have holes in. That's quite simply dangerous. It's £26 a night; dirt cheap, as it is a hostel, but... More

Stayed here for 2 nights before we started our safari and also after our safari before we flew back to the UK. Clean, comfortable, basic accommodation and cheap drinks in the bar! It stays warm at night so maybe concider a room with a/c. Would recommend.

I stayed there with a group of friends. Accomodations were clean and quiet, the food was good. Very nice place to stay for the budget minded traveller.

Our group had 39 people, 34 from USA, 5 from Europe, Slovakia. Accomodations were great! Food also! TEC Kurasini can provide transportation, just ask about the price ahead! Internet very slow. Overall great place to sleep and move further.

We arrived here very late at night from the airport. We, a group of lads, met up with a group of girls from our class. Some of the guys were very disappointed after two months together that they were not allowed to share a room with their girlfriends - this is a religious hostel. That's fair enough though! We missed... More

Tsh44, 000 for a double with en suite (cold water). Mosquito nets have no holes. Internet costs Tsh500 for half an hour, although more on the slow side. Buffet breakfast with porridge, fresh fruit, eggs and toast and dinner is available at Tsh7000.
