The place is perfect if youre just waiting for your flight. Good room with all you need: mosquito net, a/c, fan, hot water, wifi. Very good food available, especially the lemon chicken. Fiendly staff, transport from/to airport for $5 available (taxi was $10, dealing impossible due to fixed price tables).

This is an okay hotel in a convenient location but expensive one assumes because of its proximity to the airport. They were accommodating to a traveler arriving in the middle of the night so no complaints there. The hot water worked for about 45 seconds, then disappeared. A taxi to and from Julius Nyerere Airport costs 10,000tsh ($5US).

We would like to thank Greg & Shannon for their candid review. We are sorry for the hot water problem. I guess you didn't switch on the heater on time. The heater's switch is in the room and clearly marked so. We might be expensive compared to where you are coming from but when you compare our rates with other...

Spent a night, conveniently located just a stone's throw away from the airport, better off getting a cab from the airport which they arrange inexpensively. Friendly staff. No hot water in my room though and a little bit more attention could be paid when it comes to cleaning

We needed to spend a few hours and have a shower before an early morning flight out of Dar. Booked and paid for a double room (including an airport pick up and drop off) through a travel agent in Zanzibar and confirmed all was paid for on checking in. This transit hotel is in a dire location and certainly not...

We stayed for a one night stop over as we needed to be at the airport early the next day. It is located in an area where we didn't feel that comfortable walking around but that was OK as they have a basic little restaurant tucked away inside that serves cold beer and really nice food. My partner had the...

Dar es Salaam isn't a place one wants to linger, and we had an early flight, so the airline guy in Zanzibar booked us into this place and arranged for someone to pick us up. The hotel was clean, quiet, had air con, and the restaurant was good and cheap. The staff have very limited English but the bar lady...

It is a transit hotel and that is all you can expect from this place. We only stayed for a few hours to get some sleep. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was clean. Because we were just taking a nap, it didn't matter, but I didn't like that there was no mosquito net in our room....

Since traffic in Dar is notoriously bad (it can take up to 2hrs across town as peak time); we decided to stay in this transit hotel for the few hours in Dar before departure. It was sufficient and adequate for that purpose; but for any longer stay I wouldn't recommend it. The staff were welcoming and accommodating; and we communicated...

For what you pay and the proximity to the airport - this place is ideal. I found it quiet and clean and good value. I spend a few nights of the year in Dar and will most likely make use of it again.

The motel is right next to a very noisy night club, which bangs out music so loud that you might as well be trying to have a sleep on the dance floor. The main trade for this Motel is a short stay for prostitutes and clients from the night club.as a result there's also a constant loud noise from drunken punters from...

Dear Guest, We thank you for spending your time writing your experience while staying with us. We are located near a bar with a function hall that is used from time to time (not every day) for weddings and other functions. It is not a night club. We have been following up with our local govt regarding the sound of...
