We stayed here a couple nights in Dar. It is a good cheap hotel. room was clean and everything worked. It is not the Hilton but certainly adequate right in the heart of the city. Staff was helpful and friendly with good security.

It is a simple place. You can have a room with or without ac. A double room with AC is 48 000 per night. Rooms are clean and without mosquito net, but they spray every night and i havent see one mosquito around.

I stayed here on my own for three nights in April 2016. I've been to Dar before but this was my first stay at the Econo Lodge as I wanted to spend more time in Kisutu and the downtown area. It's in an excellent location to explore that area by foot, and is extremely affordable, so those are both major...

Staying here for two nights. The rooms are a good size, I booked a single and got a twin at no extra cost. The beds are changed each day which was a pleasant surprise and the room was cleaned completely, i must admit i was suitably impressed. As other have mentioned breakfast is simple (a slice of water melon, half...

Econo is simple, nice and very budget place where to stay. It has rooms with fan or airconditining, the rooms are spacious, clean, fan is working properly and the bathroom is also big. If not every room, then at least some of them have a balcony. Breakfast is included to the price, though we did not try it. So cannot...

Less than 20€ to get an enough clean double room in the center of Kisutu in Dar Es Salaam. The room is spacious and with fan, for an extra you could have AC. There is a little bathroom with a sink and a shower. Breakfast with fruit, bread and coffee included.

You really get what it says! It is centrally located and you can choose between fan rooms and AC-rooms(which are 7000 shilling more expensive). It is not the tidiest hotel but it is also not dirty and you get what is needed! Stayed there several nights and enjoyed it! Around the corner is a very good restaurant and WiFi is...

As mentioned below the prices are on the wall so you can see the options. It comes with breakfast which is toast, fruit and coffee. You can get...

Stayed here for one night en route to Zanzibar. Rooms are clean, hotel water. Prices are on the wall and hence very transparent. Breakfast just about edible. Arrived late at night and homeless people all along the street outside. Owner warned us to take care any time of day or night. Wouldn't stay here for long but good transit stop...
