Wonderful place, outstanding view and perfect service. Well located inside the Medina, if you are planing to visit Tanger, i recommend to stay in La Tangerina, Farida will take care of you and will suggest restaurants and things to do! It was a great pleasure to stay there! I loved the radios and the room keys!

Despite being an avid reader, and particularly interested in North Africa, I sadly didn't know of Paul Bowles. Well, just grab one of his books (I would recommend Un Thé au Sahara and Leurs Mains Sont Bleues), and read a passage of his life in Tangier; you'll get a flavour of what it feels like to stay at La Tangerina....

La Tangerina is not only beautifully decorated but the staff makes you feel really welcome. I loved the care for the detail: the space in the rooms is cleverly organised, light switches are in smart places, the old radios diffusing jazz. But the best is the staff, professional and warm at the same time. Our 5 year old daughter rambled...

We enjoyed our stay at La Tangerina. It is inside the Kasbah some rooms overlook the harbour and some have a lovely terrace just outside. The food was really good, much the best hotel food I have had in Morocco. For breakfast we had croissants that ware so light and crisp they nearly floated away. The jams were delicious especially...

Thank you Mossine for taking care of us so well- arranging our tour to the desert and your expert follow-up to make sure it all worked out. it did! And thanks for building the friendly fire in the parlor, upgrading us to a wonderful room, and seeing to it that I experienced my first hammam. (Thanks Laila too!) Wish we...

La Tangerina takes you back in time, quite literally. The rooms have actual keys, not cards. There are no televisions but there are radios dating back to the '40s in each room if you want music. Love it! No phones in the rooms except for room #10, which is on the rooftop. No fridge in room, or mini bar. No...

The hotel was beautiful and spotless. It was quiet and in the thick of things in its location. The people who run it are some of the most lovely people I've ever met. The roof terrace has breathtaking views. How could you help but not love this place?

So glad we chose to stay at La Tangerina for our visit to Tangier! We were in #10, which was great for us as we could easily relax on the rooftop terrace and/or step outside for breakfast (weather permitting). Everyone was so amazingly helpful starting right from booking our stay. We opted to book airport transfer, a tour guide, the...

This is an absolute gem in the Medina/Kasbah of Tangier. Cozy, quiet, friendly, elegant, spotlessly clean guest house. The hosts are gracious and seek to simply make you feel at home in their flawlessly renovated property. The rooftop terrace is the place to be with a glass of wine in the evenings, with expansive ocean views and gentle breezes. Quaint...

Love everything about this place; the location, the decor, the rooms, the owners, the help, the food, etc. etc.!! Can't wait to visit again. Bring good walking shoes; the fun is getting lost walking all in and around and up and down the kasbah!
