For the price I paid I expected more - it was clean but not well maintained. I will spend more time researching hotels on Rabat if we visit again. We did meet many nice local people while navigating to the hotel, driving in Rabat is not for the faint of heart.

I don't know what the other reviewers have seen in this place, it's a complete dump. The area is very dark and run down. The staff are friendly though. Interior can do with some tlc. I was given a room with a balcony view onto the square, constant noise of people and traffic. Leaking ceilings, can also hear the other...

The staff is amazingly friendly. The hotel is superbly located, near the modern art museum, near the parliament, near Rabat's main street, near the best bookstore in town, near the best restaurant (Philippe Rey bistro). It is also easy to find a parking spot. Now every time I go to Rabat I will use their amenities.

I have stayed at the Royal Hotel once or twice a year for several years and just did again. - Here is why I REALLY ENJOY staying there: (1) The location is superb, being only a short walk from the very nice central train station along wide brightly lit streets in a nice area of the city. (2) It is...

Positive is the location of the hotel right in the heart of Rabat and in walking distance to the old town and mausoleum of Hassan. To go to the Kasbah you better take a cab. The hotel itself did not leave a smooth impression on us. Though renovated and refurbished in major areas it overall carries a dull and depressing...

We stayed 2 nights and are very pleased with the staff, the room, and the location. Breakfast was very good (omelette, croissants, bread, jam, juice, and coffee). The staff was professional and treated us with respect. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Because of the location in downtown, there is some street noise and the call to...

this hotel is not the best but it's good for travelers and business trip also if you are looking for a low budget hotel . the hotel is clean the food is okay and the location is the most advantage of this hotel, 2 mins from the train station and consider as a downtown location the rooms are well not...

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights with my girlfriend. It´s not posh, but that wasn't a requirement to us,although there´s some things that we don´t abdicate, one of them friendly staff. And the staf of this hotel, mainly on reception they are not smiley. Beside that, it´s a simple hotel, decoration dated, the bathrooms are not so bad, the...

This hotel harks back to the 1950's with its dark wood paneling and red walls and carpets. It is very well maintained, offers wifi, and is in an extremely good location, in the Nouvelle Ville across the street from the excellent Cafe Majestic. The staff, however, is not particularly helpful, the rooms are very small and dark, and the noise...

This place is not the most modern or trendy but it has old fashioned class. Everything was clean and worked well. Wifi worked on all floors unlike many hotels. The service was courteous and the location is great.

“Try to book a room that does not face the mosque unless you are an early (5:00 am) riser. Be sure to have enough cash to pay your bill in advance and don't expect to use the internet.”
