We had a lovely stay at Riad Amazigh. Fatima, the host, was very accommodating, taking time to explain the sites of Meknes and making us feel very welcome. We stayed during a quiet time of the year so Fatima let us have our choice from all the rooms and did not charg us the difference when we chose a more... More

This was the first stop on our trip to Morocco in May'14 and there couldn't have been a better, more authentic experience. Situated in the heart of the medina, the Riad is beautifully done up. Fatima is a sweet, gracious hostess, who patiently explained all the local landmarks and what we could do during our time there. She also gave... More

Riad Amazigh is a pleasant and very affordable place to stay in the medina of Meknes, and the owner, Fatima, is exceptionally outgoing and gracious. Our room was spacious & clean, if rather basic, and our stay as a whole was quite enjoyable.

The Riad is very well located in the medina of Meknes and all the interesting things are in walking distance. The place is well decorated, clean and comfortable. Fatima the owner ist very charming and helpful and had some good recommendations for restaurants and what to visit. Even explained us a lot of cultural things of morocco. The breakfast was... More

Meknes is much calmer than most Moroccan cities, its medina is small and comfortable. Riad Amazigh is right in the center of the medina and a perfect base not only to visit the city, but also the surrounding area. We stayed several days and took day trips to Rabat, Volubilis, the Atlas mountains and much more. Fatima is a splendid... More

A gorgeous riad, tastefully renovated with some fab pieces collected by the owner, Fatima. Situated in the middle of Meknes' very gentle and friendly medina - no hassles (unlike Fez etc) and small enough to get lost and found easily. We liked Meknes a lot - quite calm and friendly - largely untouristy and even the Ville Nouvelle was a... More

Great place and location. Fatima is a wonderful, interesting warm person, that makes you feel at home immediately. Next to Fatima, she also is surrounded by wonderfull staff taking good care of you. We would definitely go back to this place if ever coming to Meknes. Would love to spend more time with Fatima.

This was my favourite accommodation on my two week trip to Morocco. We stayed back in May 2013. It was absolutely beautiful, well maintaned, and had fantastic attention to detail. When we arrived there were not many rooms booked in for the night, so Fatima let us choose from all available rooms which one we wanted, rather than just giving... More

This riad is located in the medina. Upon arrival we are given tea and sweets while we await the owner / manager to show up which I thought was quite thoughtful. We are given our choice of room, upstairs or on the main floor. We choose the main floor so as to not lug our luggage up the small windy... More

The architecture of the riad is simply beautiful and unusual. It has a gorgeous terrace split on various levels which overlooks the roofs of the medina. Great to have breakfast or to look at the sky from this magic spot. We loved our spacious room, the food, the way it was served, the beautiful taste of ceramics..but amongst all we... More
