This was my first trip to Marrakech and I am so happy we chose to stay in this Riad. It was very relaxing, quiet and the staff were very friendly. Our room was a triple room on the ground floor - very beautiful. The breakfast was continental so pretty basic, we didn't eat in the hotel during the days as... More

Brilliant for :- 1. Christoph - friendly manager 2. Isham - service great! 3. Rooms - ground floor poolside great for holiday groups of friends 4. Location - 15-20 minutes from the souks and the main square 5. Quality - beautifully decorated with furniture and paintings, good bedding, large bathrooms (except one which only had a curtain, instead of a... More

Great place to stay. Relaxed, cosy and good service. It is located within the old town surrounded by old school houses, shops and massive mosques. 10 minutes walk away from main strip (the square, shops etc). 10 minutes taxi drive from new town (modern part). Haggle with the taxi driver as they are all ripoffs. Gets really cold at night... More

First visit to Marrakesh and I wasn't sure what to expect. First impression "Wow!" Our room was great (& just a few steps from the pool) This lovely Riad was quiet and relaxing with great Moroccan style features. Sunny roof terrace where we had breakfast every morning and very helpful staff. Its about a 15 minutes walk from the main... More

Palais Calipau If you are looking for a decent riad to stay in with no frills, then this for you. It is located just off the main street (Rue de la Kasbah ) in the old town. It is about 20 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fnna which is probably where you will spend most of your nights. You can... More

I always wanted to visit Marrakech with my husband and stay in a riad. For the sense of romance and a feeling of '1001 Arabian nights'. Marrakech itself is growing gradually into a very touristy city but it still gives you a good impression of the real Morocco as opposed to Casablanca. The riad where we stayed definitely added to... Having just returned from a great trip to Marrakech, it was worth writing a review about the riad, as it was such a good part of the holiday, Palais Calipau like many of the riads in Marrakech is a hidden world, behind the large wooden door is an amazing place of peace and tranquility. Far more intimate than a large... More

This is such a lovely place to stay in Morocco. If I ever come back I will stay here again. We received a friendly welcome with tea and biscuits while we filled out the paperwork. Our room was beautiful and the Riad is in a great location. It is everything you expect and a little bit more. This is a... More

The Riad is truly beautiful and the staff was all ways smiley and friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms don't match the description (we stayed in a superior suite but it shouldn't be called anything more fancy than simple double room). There were no bins anywhere and cleaners never picked up our rubbish, there are no doors to the bathroom and light... More
