Lovely Riad in Marrakech, good location, beautifully decorated rooms, amazing tasting evening meal. Roof top terrace overlooking the city. Highly recommended. Sophia the manager really helped in explaining where to go and what to see. Night time in Marrakech is a whole new ball game, it becomes alive. The Medina is like nothing you will ever witness again. Try it.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Aya- Sofia, the manager, was extremely helpful and even offered to help us get around to see some really special places. Simo, the evening attendant, was amazing, preparing us wine and making sure our stay was comfortable and our transfers were easily arranged. After a day at the souks and visiting the desert,...

Riad Aya is in the perfect location, after leaving the busy main road and heading down an alleyway you enter a peaceful retreat. There is always someone there to welcome you with a massive smile, staff cannot do enough for you. After arriving on a late flight Zaneb (the cook) prepared a beautiful 3 course dinner for us. We decided...

Excellent location Excellent management from stand in Isabelle and her staff Good advice re trips to Atlas Mountains and elsewhere We were looked after all the time and nothing was too much for the staff The in house breakfast and dinner very good! No funny belly here unlike some of the more reputable restaurants we went to!

An excellent location, central to all you'd want in Marrakech and a haven of tranquility in the bustle of the Medina. Staff friendly and helpful, room was excellent and spotlessly clean and the food was very good too. The Manager, Sophia, was particularly helpful with advice and recommendations and arranged coach tickets and an overnight 'exchange' at a Riad on...

After arriving at our pre booked riad, (which was full!) we were kindly offered a room at riad aya for one night until our room was available. The room was very pretty (purple-my favourite colour!) and very clean. The shower area was large and traditionally decorated. We were staying on the ground floor where we did get a little noise...

A wonderful place to stay when in the city... close to the Djemaa el Fna, the souks and the Koutoubia Mosque, but not TOO close to be hassled by the street-vendors when leaving the tranquility of the Riad. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned and a very comfortably size, given just how small the Riad is and how big the bathrooms...

Perfect location for exploring the souks and marrakech. breakfast was tasty and when asked for fruit they were happy to help. Tranquil place to come back to after the hustle and bustle of the city and very close to everything. Felt very safe walking home as you walk past the palace with guards. I would highly recommend Riad Aya.

It is very nice, cozy, clean riad. Its located inside medina-old town, therefore everywhere is just walking distance. Staff was brilliant and if you needed anything they were very helpful. We had bed and breakfast and breakfast was typical Moroccan bread freshly made in the morning so i can say that was one of the best breakfast i had in...

Highly recommended. We had a wonderful 2 day stay 5th - 6th March 2013. Atmosphere, cleanliness, friendliness of staff all excellent. We stayed in the Paprika suite having been upgraded on our arrival and loved the sense of peace we felt there. Only 10 mins walk from main square and souks. Ate dinner on both evenings and enjoyed it very...
