Firstly we have been coming here for 6 years and have seen the hotel before and after the refurb - all still with the same great service We travelled with Tui and got our test kits from Chronomics - very simple and easily done. We always have a private transfer. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a swim up room and it was excellent! It’s a real sun trap in the afternoon until 7pm - thank you so much 😊 We met some lovely people and had a fantastic time. Yes things are different because of Covid and the curfew is a pain. It’s a shame as first time visitors really haven’t seen Marrakech or the hotel at it’s best. However we still had a great time. Rachida and the reception manager are great and can’t do enough for you. There are plenty of sun beds available in the gardens if you don’t want to get up at 6am to reserve one by the pool - really people why do this - you’re on holiday! Never understand this - it’s a problem the world over 🙄 Food and drink was of the usual standard and was excellent. Try the Moroccan food. You might just enjoy it 😊 Our room was cleaned to a high standard - this has never been an issue, but felt even better during Covid. The extra space of the swim up suite was a bonus - as was the extra bottle of wine 🍷 We will be back in September next year. Go and try it and enjoy. And please, be nice to the staff - they work really hard to make a great holiday perfect. Thank you once again Medina Gardens

This was our 3rd time at Medina Gardens and it didn’t disappoint, this hotel is set within the walls of Marrakesh and an easy walk into the square. The bedrooms are all recently upgraded and beautiful and clean, on this visit we actually had a room with a jacuzzi overlooking the gardens, it was a large room with a fridge, TV, kettle with tea and coffee facilities, USB sockets and a safe. The staff at Medina Gardens are all excellent, they are all friendly and will do anything to help their guests, The snack bar only opened half way through our stay but this is excellent at lunchtime with food cooked to order. You get one visit to the A la carte restaurant per stay and this is well worth booking on arrival. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning again soon. Rachida the guest manager is lovely and is always available to help guests. Special mentions also to Mo and Senna in the pool bar who were always going that extra step to help all the guests and make their stay even more special. They work so hard but always with a huge smile and such enthusiasm, always taking time to speak to everyone. The lady who runs the snack bar at lunchtime was also really busy but always made time to speak to everyone and make sure that everything had been ok! As previously stated the snack bar was excellent! Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions in Morocco there was a 9pm curfew so limited entertainment in the evenings which was a little disappointing but not the Hotels fault and I’m sure as soon as they can they will get this back and up and running, we did miss the entertainment that we had experienced previously.

Recently returned from a 10 day stay. Food was excellent and hotel very clean. There appears to be a general problem with the air conditioning as the bar and reception areas and on occasions the restaurant were not as cool as they should be. Some guests said their rooms were too warm despite lowering the temperature. Other reviewers have also mentioned this but I expect the hotel will deny it as they have done in previous replies to reviews.

Just returned from a 10 day break with my friend at this amazing hotel, I first visited this hotel in 2019 with a group of friends it was amazing then hence why 2 of us 99 returned, though this time a little different than 2019 due to covid and curfew. The staff amazing and couldn't do enough always pleasant and polite, I would like to mention 2 staff members khalid tui rep very knowledgeable and very helpful always has time for a chat and to Mohammed (Ben) in the coffee bar a true gentleman in every way. The hotel ,rooms , pool and garden spotless. Food was amazing and the waiter service fantastic. Animarion Alicia and cherith try their very best to get people involved with activities. We have gala night where the staff thank holiday makers and other staff but unfortunately I didn't hear them praise the cleaning staff, pool attendant or garden staff who do an amazing job keeping the rooms and the pool and garden spotless ( please can these be added to the thank you list on gala night as without these people the hotel wouldn't be as beautiful as it is. The hotel is in a great please to go and see the medina, souks majorelle Gardens shops etc. Will we be returning again absolutely.

Just returned from an amazing 10 day stay at the Medina Gardens! We stayed in a junior suite with swim up room and chose to stay at this hotel over a Riad due to its proximity to Jemma El-Fna market and nearby attractions meaning you could simply walk to Majorelle Gardens, The Jewish Quarter and the local El Badi and Bahia Palace. Staff was super friendly, and the food on offer was fantastic. Rachida and the team were great! The gardens were luscious and well maintained and they even had some tortoise in a small area of the grounds. We had considered other hotels further out but this place for us had one of the best addresses in Marrakesh and it was newly refurbished. The Royal Mansour is also just across the road if you fancy Afternoon Tea! I would not hesitate to return and stay here! Fantastic!
