Booked with BA Flights. Pleasantly surprised by hidden gem of a hotel in the old town. Friendly and welcoming staff despite a late arrival. Hot tea upon arrival and complimentary water in room. Staff friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The continental breakfast was also varied and filling and served on the roof terrace for a beautiful sunny rise. Thank... More

In centre if old marrakesh near souk, not easy to reach, stuff are very simple and could not help in directions, breakfast was not ready at the requested time, not many varieties.. Basic simple but not pleasant.. Specially when compared to the other diars we stayed in chefchaoun and tanger.

A charming riad with very friendly staff and spacious, simple yet elegant rooms. The terrace is also beautiful for breakfast Just a tip to get there, a taxi from the train station should cost no more than 15 dhirams. Ask them to take you to Dar-el-Bacha. From there it's a 1-3 minute walk. Just follow the signs that are located... More

Stayed in the riad for 3 nights. I booked a single room since I'm a solo traveler, but I was delighted when Ahmed, one of the riad's managers gave me a free upgrade to a special room. The riad is simply beautiful & quiet. Not that big,but perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooftop terrace is also a catch! Overall, I... More

We stayed there for three nights. First time staying in a Riad, so the approach through narrow and old alleys seemed a bit worrying. But once you enter through the door the environment transforms. It is very tastefully done, rooms are decent sized but not very big, our bathroom was huge with a skylight. It is not a very big... More

It was in the perfect location- 5 minute walk from the souks. The riad itself was very traditionally decorated and the rooms were gorgeous and clean. We would... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Do you know the real meaning of "baraka?" It is "benefit!" A name which fits this remarkable building like a glove. Reknowned for its fine architectural detail, the "pièce de résistance" of this beautiful building is the lounge, adorned with an ornately painted ceiling, an ideal place for a candlelit dinner! This medium-sized riad comprises 5 bedrooms surrrounding a central courtyard with fountain. A split-level roof-terrace provides a magnificient view of the gardens of Dar El Bacha, the ancient palace of Glaouiet and the celebrated minaret of the Katoubi mosque. To complete your relaxation, a hammam and choice of massages are available. If this house is not enough to delight, then Dar Karam awaits to further seduce you with the charms of Moroccan hospitality. To provide more spacious accommodation the two houses may be booked as one. This riad, restored in respectful keeping with its surroundings, is a model of sobriety and elegance. Five charming bedrooms, traditionally furnished, once again open onto the central courtyard with fountain. Another beautiful lounge with a magnificient traditionally painted ceiling positively calls for dinner by candlelight!
