They say that finding a good Riad is the key to an enjoyable stay in Marrakech & Riad Shama has hit the nail on the head. The staff could not have been more helpful and really fulfilled my every need. From booking day trips, helpful advice, and everything else I needed. I was travelling solo and they made me feel...

The details matter. Overall a nice Riad with friendly staff however there were more and more details adding up which I didn't like: -broke down chairs at the pool -broken showerhead and hose -wifi not properly working -the soap was not refilled during our whole stay even though we opened the lid and made clear that it was empty -.....

I originally made my booking at the Riad Charai, however, upon arrival at the door of the riad I booked, I was told by a porter that the Riad was undergoing construction, and they would take us to their sister riad the Riad Shama. I was given NO prior notice whatsoever (the manager later claimed this was because the works...

Riad Shama is an excellent place to find tranquility in the middle of the bustling and chaotic Marrakech. It will take you around 15-20 mins to get to Medina. You have the option to take a taxi or bus as public transport. I tried the bus from Medina to the bus stop, ca 25 m away from the riad and...

We stayed here for our first visit to marrakech and it did not dissapoint. Located just out of the hustle and bustle of the main square it was a tranquil and serene escape. Very easy to find as near a main street and taxis all seem to know the place! The staff were amazing and couldnt have been more helpful....

I loved my time at the Riad Shama. It was quiet, cool, beautiful and relaxing. Staff were attentive, breakfast was nice, room was fantastic. The roof terrace is the perfect place for a glass of wine while to sun goes down!

I stayed here overnight last week, whilst on a motorcycle tour of Morocco. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were clean and food was excellent. Although being April the pool was chilly! After the madness of the Madina it's a real surprise to walk through the door into the peace and quiet of the hotel. As were...

Good location with taxis just outside the alleyway and plenty of stalls to keep people watchers happy. Lovely rooms with the most amazing shampoo and bath lotions. Staff on the whole very helpful. will do almost anything you ask...
