I cannot rate this Riad highly enough! I came to Marrakesh with my mum in March and as two girls travelling alone, we were a little apprehensive, but we couldn't have found a home from home anywhere else. As soon as you step inside the riad from the hustle and bustle of the medina you are suddenly in a beautiful,...

If you're visiting Marrakesh you just have to stay at The Riad Al Massarah! There probably isn't enough space to mention everything but here is just a bit of information if you're thinking of taking a holiday in Morrocco. We stayed for 3 days in February with beautiful weather at just the right temperature. Our host was David who was...

We stayed here for 1 night purely by chance as the Riad just a couple of doors away couldn't accommodate us on our first night. We weren't expecting to stay here, but were really glad we did. Received such a lovely, friendly welcome from David who recommended a few places for us to visit. Our room was lovely, small but...

We just came back from 3 days in Marrakech and highly recommend staying at Riad Al Massarah. Michel, Micheal and David are phenomenal hosts and gave us excellent recommendations, which are much needed and appreciated in the craziness of the city! Michel even took us to a couple of rug dealers as I was feeling overwhelmed and needed "insider advice",...

This is the most beautiful Riad - very well located. David looked after us so well and all the staff were attentive, polite and warm. This was my first trip to Morocco and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. The Riad is beautifully & tastefully decorated and the rooms and beds extremely comfortable with a suitable Moroccan vibe....

Riad Al Massarah is such a welcoming and friendly and comfortable place to be in Marrakech. Beautifully decorated with lovely things, comfortable, great breakfast (and dinner if you want it). Wonderful and erudite library of novels, history and guide books to indulge. An old medina house lovingly renovated, with artworks, lanterns, plants, a hammam room. Fantastic roof terrace with sun...

Michel and Michael are the best hosts. The riad is decorated with extremely good taste. Michel has a great taste in music and would play a great selection every morning during breakfast. They giive great information on the souks, restaurants and shops. They arranged me to go to the public hamman with the riad masseur which was a great experience. I...

QUALITY is the best word to describe everything about this Riad. From the room product to the impecable service...everything here is just wonderful. I would highlight the service and both the lovely Owners are truly tapped into the fabric of Marrakesh and offer amazing suggestions on all fronts. Thank you, it was wonderful have you stay. We appreciate guests who feel that the Riad is more like home. True, we are not considered a prime location - we are a 15minute walk from Jeema el Fna. But we think our location off a local shopping souk gives an authentic experience of being in Marrakech, and we are just...

My husband and I visited in late summer and can think of nowhere more perfect to stay in Marrakech. It's location in the thick of the medina was ideal and a true oasis in the wonderful chaos of Marrakech. We experienced enormous kindness (and many laughs) - Michael and Michel were fabulous hosts and we felt thoroughly spoilt in this...
