A welcome oasis at the end of our trip to Marocco. This provided us with an authentic, comfortable riad, good food and within walking distance of the Place Djema El Fna and Souks. What we appreciated also was that it was not buried in the medina but rather easily accessible.

Our time in Marrakech was most enjoyable enhanced by our lovely stay in Riad Jonan!! A very relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff very attentive without being intrusive. Martin and Howard who run the riad are always on hand to offer advise and help out...

We found the riad to be clean, comfortable, charmingly furnished and in a great location. The kasbah area is a great place to stay to soak up all the atmosphere and observe the streetlife of Marrakech, the riad is within a short walk to the main square and souks but a quiet and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle...

I found this hotel very friendly and the staff great. We had a standard room which is quite small but clean and cosy. I agree with the other reviews who have said the drains do smell pretty bad but i'm sure this is a problem everywhere in Marrakesh. The only thing we were not impressed with was the driver the...

The location in the kasbah gives plenty of exposure to ordinary Moroccan life and the locals are generally very friendly. Hotel rooms are pleasant although a little on the small side. Service is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the sketch map and recommendations provided on the first evening were very useful. As a separate dining tip, Le Tangia restaurant near...

Friendly little riad in the Kasbah area of Marrakech. It's about a 20 minute walk from the main square and the souks, but we enjoyed wandering round the Kasbah too, and thought it a good location - calmer than the area round the main square but easy enough to walk there for restaurants etc. The staff and owners were always...

My wife and I were very comfortable at the Riad Jonan. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts gave you a great start for the day, and gave you the chance to swap stories with other guests. As the Riad is situated right in the heart of the Kasbah, you get a wonderful...

I and DH stayed at Riad Jonan for two nights in February. The riad is rather conveniently located in the Kasbah area, a walking distance from the Jemaa el Fna square and the souks. The riad is nicely decorated, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts adequate. There was also a cute little dog running around. But we...

Excellent riad to stay in to experience the flavour of marrakesh set right in the heart of the Kasbah within walking distance of most of the major sights. We stayed for 10 nights (a bit too long for Marrakesh ) and the basic rooms we found to be too small and had to upgrade. However Howard and Martin the owners...

Beautifully decorated and friendly Riad in the Kasbah area of the old town. Room lovely, shower good and breakfast great. Very helpful staff are English speaking and give accurate non-biased advice. Kindly posted a key that we left behind in the safe! Would go again and recommend Riad Jonan to friends.
