Traveled to Marrakech on my own, but never felt alone at the Riad Matham! Thierry and the staff were always there to help out, and the other guests were very nice if you wanted to get to know them. The night I arrived in Marrakech, Thierry had arranged transportation from the airport and he personally met me in the medina...

A calm and tranquil boutique hotel in the medina. The riad had been redeveloped a few years ago by M. Thierry with impeccable taste. The staff were outstandingly hospitable and honest. Thierry provided local knowledge as to sights and how to find your way around town. It was additionally a great pleasure to be able to order dinner in the...

Beautifully decorated riad with a very interesting terrace, not to speak for the breakfast (also perfect). Located in a good area, it just takes 1/2 days to get used and find your way around the sourrounding small streets. Perfect place to have a rest after experiencing the chaos of the markets!

Spent a fantastic five nights at beautiful Riad Matham with a friend and loved every minute. If you want telly and tea making in your room, go elsewhere, but if you want to experience incredible Moroccan architecture and hospitality, step this way. We had a spacious and airy twin room (no 1) with plenty of room for two beds, a...

As soon as me and my husband walked through the door of Riad Matham after a hectic journey I knew we were in for an excellent few days. The Riad is beautifully decorated and very clean. We were warmly greeted by Thierry (the owner) and staff. Once in the riad it's hard to believe that the hectic streets of the...

We originally only booked two nights as we like to experience multiple places in a city but extended our stay here and returned after a side trip to Essaouira. Thierry and Hicham were excellent hosts and they and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms were comfortable and quiet after hectic days in the Medina. The WiFi was...

We are back from 4 nights at Riad Matham (we visited this time last year too). We asked to include a transfer from the airport and we were met and guided in through the narrow alleys to the Riad by Hicham. He was so helpful and had lots of advice and went through the map with us over a lovely...

Traditionally Morrocan with a twist of French, this is an ideal place to stay to experience the city. Thierry the Owner and his staff are amazing and cannot do enough to ensure you have a great stay. Once you step through the heavy wooden door of the Riad you are transported into another world. Greeted by a gorgeous courtyard with...
