Very warm welcome from our hosts Gilles and Dominique. Great location and a haven of peace and tranquillity. Food also excellent if wanted. Easy access to both the souks and the new part of town and easy parking nearby.

We stayed four nights and so we received a free transfer from the airport which was great. We were welcomed with mint tea and a delicious supper cooked by their fantastic cook. Gilles and Dominique were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Gilles even took us round the souks and helped with bartering! Dominique booked us into the spa...

I stayed in the cosy Meknes room on my third trip to Marrakech. I booked using the 'last minute' deal option to get 20% off so the riad was excellent value at around 35 euro per night. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the riad is a very peaceful place so I had some of the best night’s sleep. The...

I would give full marks to Gilles and Dominique, the owners of this place. They are ever willing to give you valuable information about the place and its' surrounds and are always there to help you. Which makes you feel at home. The place is very conveniently located, just 2 mins from the main road and walking distance from all...

Had a wonderful stay with Dominique & Gilles on my last 3 nights in Marrakech (& Morocco) - highly recommended if you want to be well taken care of by the resident owners and enjoy a gem of a riad. Breakfasts were plentiful, varied, & the best on my trip; there is filtered water available throughout the riad (free); fresh...

After being met at the airport, and then delivered to the corner near to the riad, Gilles then walked me to the riad. Great location, lovely owners, amazing breakfast, beautiful room. It is just a jewel.

We are back at the Riad Abaca Badra once again enjoying Gilles and Dominique's (GD for brevity from now on) hospitality, aided by their wonderful staff Soumia, Fathia and Khadija. We have stayed in riads and hotels elsewhere in Morocco but nowhere can approach the joys of being here. Actually I can't think of anywhere we have stayed that comes...

Gilles and Dominique, the proprietors here, go out of their way to make you feel at home in this cozy riad on a quiet derb between Dar el-Basha and Bab Doukala. The location is convenient to everything you could possibly want: airport, bus station, Jemaa al-Fnaa, Guéliz, souks, etc. Our room, Ouarzazate, was spacious and well-appointed. There's plenty of common...

Riad Abaca Badra is located in a nice part of the medina and conveniently reachable by foot from transport hubs outside the medina. It has a cosy atmosphere with several small lounges to play board games. Gilles and Dominique, the owners of the Riad, are really helpful and make sure that you have a fantastic time in Marrakech. The breakfast...

We have just returned from the Abaca Badra for the forth time and we are already planning our next trip. This really is a fantastic place to stay when in Marrakech. The warm friendly greeting from the hosts Gilles and Dominique make you feel at home from the outset. The Riad is stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean. As an added...
