Just spent 3 nights at Riad Majala - arrived with a rental car after a few nights in Atlas. They were so helpful, meeting us on time at Bab Laksour (Laksour Gate) and showing us to parking 1min away (30 MAD per day). A porter with a cart comes with you to carry your luggage (and children!) and you follow...

We forgot to book one night and were referred to this Riad by the staff at Riad L'Orangerie. It was fantastic. The staff were accommodating, helpful, friendly, and beyond welcoming. We had the entire place to ourselves one night-- amazing! For 24 hours we really got to feel like it was our riad in Marrakech. One tip: this one can...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Riad Majala during my recent trip to Marrakech. It was a charming hideaway riad just off the main access road to the medina. It was a little confusing to find at first, but once we got the hang of it, we were fine. The staff was particularly helpful during our visit. For...

We stayed here with family & friends while attending a wedding so we maxed out the whole place. The rooms were lovely and cool and the central courtyard was a great place to socialize and drink tea with everyone. It was clean and friendly. It certainly is tucked away inside the Medina, which is part of the charm but finding...

Riad Majala is tucked inside the Medina, yet is very quiet. While it is a bit of a trek from the closest road open for auto traffic, we were able to find our way by following left turn, right turn, left, right...etc. The rooms were comfortable, and the baths were very nice. While not super upscale, it served our purposes...

Apparently this building is not a restored old riad, it is all new. Rooms are large, well equipped and very clean. Bathrooms have good showers and are clean, as well. The riad is located in the thick of things, but at the end of a small maze of alley and therefore it's quiet. Breakfast was good, too. We had dinner...

I wrote a review about our wonderful stay here on the sight for Riad Majala's sister riad (Riad Magellan), but wanted to add a specific review and recommendation regarding the dinner we had at Riad Majala. We had arranged for a private dinner at the Riad the night we arrived, BEST IDEA EVER. The setting was beautiful, the food was...

Perfect location, half way between the souks and Jemaa El Fnaa; there is a somewhat intrepid 3 minute walk from the main street to the riad, down tiny alleyways and one especially dark tunnel. This does mean it's nice and quiet. Opt for an airport taxi; a car will drop you a 5 minute walk away and a man with...

Everywhere you go in Marakesh, you are asked 'where you from' and after you tell them the same response 'big welcome'. The people here in general are kind and generous and specifically that is the case at Riad Majela. The website description of the riad and its location is accurate; it is a quiet oasis amid the delightful chaos of...

Stayed here for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They even walked us to the local hammam to make sure we didn't get lost. Rooms were well equipped and very pretty. Great breakfast. Riad is very good value for money. Would recommend the airport pick up as it is in heart of medina...

“If you are big on locking doors and high level seurity, the curtained doorway and no keys to the rooms may make you nervous - don't be. Rooms on the first level are probably a bit quieter than those on the gorund floor.”
