We had a 4 night stay at the Riad asrari in March, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the souks outside the hotel are intense and full on to say the least but we always had this little oasis of calm and peace to return to, the staff made some very helpful suggestions for places to eat and things...

Riad Asrari is not easy to find when you arrive but when you do find it, what a little gem. The team who look after you are wonderful - you could not ask for better service - they are so helpful, polite and kind. Breakfast is a lovely start to the day on the rooftop. The Riad is a peaceful...

We had 2 nights at the Riad Asrari just before New Year. We arrived late at 9pm and had a wonderful romantic meal in the Tent on the Terrace. Our best meal in Morocco. Our host was very helpful and the Riad is very unique and charming. As we were in the middle of Winter it was a little chilly...

Beautiful Riad Horrible Experience Pros- Gorgeous decor, delicious mint tea at breakfast served by the sweet staff adel Cons- 1) No heat in the middle of winter 2 nights during my stay. Woke up with a sore throat and freezing. 2) breakfast is all carbs- cakes and bread and butter- no protein or fresh fruit. 3) I arrived at 2:30...

I found this Riad through Secret Escapes and would not have been able to afford if it weren't for the deal. For the price we paid, the room was incredible. All rooms are themed and are tastefully decorated - we stayed in the Indian room which we thought was the nicest after having a brief tour around the others available....

To say we had a stressful and chaotic journey from airport to Riad is an understatement to say the least. But once we entered, its like the outside world didn't exist. Like many other traditional Riads, they are designed around a beautiful courtyard in the centre, an effort at inner reflection. There are only 5 or so rooms and a...

We have just spent 3 days staying at the Riad Asrari, a beautiful place that is in the heart of Larousse and just a short [5min] taxis ride from most of the main attractions in Marrakech. The staff esp Adil and Latifa were really lovely, they were extremely friendly, helpful and couldn't do more to make our stay a pleasant...

We had a marvellous time in this enchanting place. The Riad is very clean the rooms cosy and extremely quiet. We would like to praise the staff which were always helpful and kind for all sorts of questions, recommendations, advice. This riad is also perfectly located if one wants to live the Medina. Andree

We had a lovely weekend at the Riad Asrari. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. The place itself is beautiful and an oasis of calm in a busy city. We loved the mint tea and delicious biscuits on the terrace each afternoon. We stayed in the Japanese room, which was really lovely, and bed was very comfortable. The tortoises...

We spent five nights at this charming riad. Within the Medina, it is about half way between Jemma el Fna and Jardin Majorelle (each about 20 minutes walk). Away from the noise, smell and bustle of the busy streets and souks, it was a relief each evening to come back to such tranquility. The riad has five bedrooms/suits – each...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, in the area of Bab Doukkala, easy to reach by car or a ten minute walk from the JEMAA el FNA Square and beautifull Majorelle Gardens, this 17th century Riad has been restored with full respect to the Moroccan tradition, keeping its original characteristics: a patio shaded by trees, the coolness of its very old marble fountain, peaceful living-rooms and a beautifully planted terrace where you can enjoy the Sunset and the view of the Medina... The RIAD ASRARI is a traditional riad with wonderful moroccan craftsmanship such as sculpted plaster ceilings, exquisitely carved Cedar doors, colorful tadelakts and zelliges skilfully composed of delicate oriental patterns. You will be welcomed with traditional pastries and Mint tea by our thoughtful and discreet staff. You will discover peaceful places to rest: the terrace and sun-beds, comfortable sofas and the kaidale tent under which you can have your breakfast. You can also relax, read and dream in our beautiful living rooms... On the patio, you will be enchanted by the magestic pace of our two tortoises as they follow their daily sunbathing ritual If you are patient enough you might also see our chameleon who plays hide and seek in the trees ! The furniture and decorative objects were procured during the owner's numerous travels, or were designed and made on site by Moroccan craftsmen. Many Primitive Art pieces are exhibited throughout the riad... All of these well considered elements have been combined for a perfect getaway. In the RIAD ASRARI, you can forget television and noisy pools...You will discover another Marrakech, in the heart of the Arabic Tradition: authentic and refined ... more   less
