Overall a nice chilled and relaxing break. The hotel is about 25-30 minutes from the airport and was very clean throughout. Check in was painless and the staff made us aware that lunch was to be ending soon so encouraged to take advantage of the buffet all inclusive set up before we headed to our rooms. Rooms came with air conditioning already on which was a nice relief in the nearing 40 degree heat. The room itself was pretty basic with two twin beds, separate toilet and bathroom, tv, fridge and french doors opening on to a balcony. There was a hairdryer as well in the bathroom. To breakdown the key elements: FOOD - WARNING - The food is very Fish orientated! We had one member of our party allergic to Fish and 3 others not be huge fans but alot of the meals provided were fish. On one night we were taken over to a different restaurant on the resort for an evening of food and entertainment but at no point were we told what the menu was or indeed if there were any choices, they all ended up being very fishy meals which was a disappointment. Outside of that the all inclusive buffet breakfast was ok, they had freshly made omlettes to order which were nice and a good range of fruit. Lunches varied but was difficult to tell what was what as there were little to no signage describing the name or contents of the dish on show. There was also no mention of any allergens on any of the food. The ‘meat’ served was chicken, turkey, liver or something described as ‘meat’ which was loosely akin to Beef. Towards the end of the week Pizzas and chips appeared which was nice to have some home comforts in amongst the unclear options. Dinner again was similar to lunch where again little to no signage as to what anything was making it tough to decide particularly when busy. There was an a la carte restaurant which you could book up by the spa pool. The food there was nice with a meat and a fish menu, we went for the meat menu and the only blip was they put anchovies on the chicken caesar salad to start but other than that the 4 courses for 200 dirham were more than acceptable. AMENETIES - Wifi in most communal places although sometimes sketchy connection. Cannot get wifi in room unless you are near the door. Multiple bars on the complex which is good for topping up and keeing hydrated throughout the day. 3 outdoor pools (1 for kids) next to the main pool with one out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the music and entertainment that you experience at the main pool. There is also a few shops at the front of reception selling mainly Morrocan clothing but also a few snacks and bits and bobs. Also a hairdressers on site and a pharmacy where you can book your Covid test before your flight home for 500 Dirham. There is also a couple of info desks for excursion booking etc. The spa is also very good with a range of treatments. There was a 3 for 2 deal on massages for 430 Dirham (works out roughly £12 per 25 minute massage) which we were only too happy to take advantage of and they were amazing. EXPERIENCE - Very relaxing week overall which is just what we all needed. The majority of staff were brilliant with Sam and Mamado on the entertainment team absolutely brilliant and very friendly. Could not do enough for us. Some of the entertainment staff could be a bit pushy to get involved on activities but i guess thats their job to try and get people to join in! Of you want to get away from that then the other pool by the spa is the place to be. Ahmed in the bar was absolutely amazing, very attentive and we built a great rapport with him. In the end it was like he knew we needed more drinks and bought more over, absolutely fabulous service. At the time of visiting however the curfew in Marrakech was still in effect, which meant no more drinks could be served after 9pm, even though we were on our own resort so it was a bit disappointing but not the venues fault. Overall a good relaxing experience much needed and indeed had. Biggest niggle was the food particularly at the beginning of the week but got better as the week went on.…
A lovely 5 nights with perfect weather and lovely staff. We booked this holiday with easyJet holidays and it was down as a 4 star. I agree that the facilities, spa, pool areas, cleanliness, food and animation were probably to this standard but the rooms were definitely not. Unfortunately, the rooms were quite basic and tired looking. The beds were too firm and the pillows weren’t great either (sorry!). It’s such a shame because the resort is so beautiful and picturesque. The air con was only to one setting and we couldn’t change it. The WiFi worked in the room but only in certain locations. The food was fine but the queuing got a bit ridiculous, I don’t know whether it was because were British and we know how to queue, but there were several occasions where people cut ahead of us which got really annoying. Luckily the staff started to notice this the more busy it got. It’s probably worth mentioning that we were perhaps only 1 of 3 other British families in this resort during our stay. The majority were french speakers and it was great obvious that there was a bit of a hierarchy when it came to getting drinks at the bar/ queuing for food/ entertainment (everything was in french). Apart from the above, we had a really nice time. The excursion team were wonderful and Sam and Momo are worth a kind mention too. Thanks for the happy memories!…

Club Dar Atlas is a fabulous hotel with beautiful scenery and lovely people. The hotel is filled with fabulous gardens and it was great to see all the wildlife everyday. The staff members are very welcoming and are constantly providing drinks and entertainment all day long. The entertainment staff host an array of activities all day long for people with all kind of interests. There are sporting activities such as aqua gym, darts, french ball and then there are calmer activities such as yoga and Arabic lessons. The staff all speak a variety of languages so the language barrier is not much of a problem. Entertainment staff Sam and Momo were fabulous and made sure our stay was as best as it could have been. The main pool is a lively size and depth and is also quite quiet and calm. The food is very nice and there are different themes every night at dinner. Over all our stay has been brilliant!!…
