My partner and I travelled for 6 months before settling in the UK. During that time we have seen our fair share of both great and unacceptable hotels. I dont normally give reviews but Riad Zineb was one of the best places I have stayed. The Riad has only 8 rooms and there is so much common space you feel...

We arrived late at night to the madness that is the famous marrakesh square Jemaa el Fna. A man put our luggage in a cart and we started the 15-25 min walk to the riad (only 25 mins as we had a baby in a pram and a elderly grandma with a walking stick.) taking in the sights along the...

I have just returned from a short break in Riad Zineb, an oasis of calm and beauty in a very vibrant bustling city. The courtyard provides a very welcoming, cool and tranquil space, as do the rooftop terraces, after a day spent wandering the square, souks and alleys. We (six friends) had rented the entire Riad for ourselves but even...

We were looking for a place to really relax on our holiday, and that was also convenient to much that Marrakech has to offer. And we found it. The Riad is 10 minutes walk through the labyrinth of streets that make up the...

“Email the hotel at the email address on their website and ask for a taxi pickup at the airport - it was a huge help for us. Took us to a mosque close to the hotel, where one of the staff workers met us and guided us through the maze of the medina to the hotel.”

“You do get woken up by the call to prayer at 04:30... but this is to be expected in an Islamic country, and as the riad is right by a mosque!”

“Try to stay in the rooms of the lower floors during the summer. They are cooler without air conditioning and they give immediate access to the pool.”
