Staying here helped you totally immerse yourself in the lives of everyday Moroccans - the property by our standards may lack some comforts but Omar and family made you feel very welcome and showed interest in all the guests. Great for seeing the Kasbah area - an experience not to be missed.

You will be living in the old town or Marrakesh so it will be more of an authentic experience. The assistants were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The Riad is located amongst Hammam spas, local homes, westernised and local restaurants and close enough to the main terminal of the City.

On arrival to the riad, the taxi driver acted nervously. We asked him what was wrong and he stated that this was not a good area for tourists to stay. He also advised us not to go out at night. We were looking forward to being immersed in the local community and culture, however we did not feel safe here....

I can only express how dishonest and aggressive the main manger is (Herve). Hotel Riad is a no go to Riad especially if you are female. The Current manager is extremely aggressive, he verbally abused us because we questioned why one of the rooms smelt like raw sewage and why the cushions were filthy. Not to mention conning my friend...

This riad is comfortable and beautifully decorated in a Moroccan style, but it is a little neglected in some areas. It is one of many riads in the area situated among the locals. It is in the quiet side of the road and the last building on a small road, making it difficult to find. This isn’t a problem when...

We were a group of 5 girls travelling together, we arrived in the dark and were quite nervous on the way to the Riad, but when we arrived we were greeted with mint tea and sat on the roof terrace and drank wine. Omar was amazing he looked after our every need and was very funny. The hotel staff booked...

The riad itself is lovely, the pool is fantastic to come back to after a hot day in Marrakech. The room was beautifully presented (although a little disconcerting not having a bathroom door), the common areas are comfortable and the terrace is lovely to sit on at night. It is a little hard to find without a sign outside so...

This riad is very fine. The building and the room is beautiful. The decoration is traditional. The building maybe is not original but have a good atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpfull The breakfast is a litle poor but enought. Maybe the next time I try something other because the location is not perfect.

A beautiful old Riad and surroundings but was a bit disappointed in the friendliness of the place. Given its small size, we felt more effort could be made in our welcome and more interest shown in helping us find our way around/giving information. May have been better if we were French or spoke better French but we were given a...
