Rasheed the owner is a very helpful, friendly man. I wish I could remember the cooks name, as she was fantastic. The two dinners I ate at the Riad were absolutely wonderful and tasty. The Riad is very clean and you feel very safe and comfortable.

It could be a bit tricky to actually find this place down the little alley ways and once you are there you still wouldn't know it! However, it is worth the hunt to track it down! A taxi will not be able to get you close and so it will be well worth hiring somebody to cart your luggage if...

I spent three nights at Riad Alamir in mid-June. This was my first time to Morocco and the riad was a great place to start a ten day holiday. The room was clean, the riad was stylishly decorated in the communal areas, and the welcome and service from staff was warm and welcoming throughout my stay. In particular, Rasheed looked...

The main reason I am giving this riad 5 stars is due to Rasheed, who runs the hotel pretty much all day. When visiting a foreign country, the most important thing is to be able to see it properly, and Rasheed gave such great advice, was genuinely interested in my well-being and recommended great restaurants, and found us whatever we...

The Riad Alamir is set in a peaceful location that is right on the doorstep of the main square and centrally placed for all attractions. The staff are friendly, obliging and extremely courteous, The Riad is kept immaculately clean and the welcoming pot of Moroccan mint tea upon arrival eases the weary traveler into a home away from home. Beautiful little riad in the medina, only a 5min walk from the big square. Great roofterras. The best breakfast of all morrocco, every day they make something different. We were travelling with two little children and Rachid and all of the members of the staff were just the most friendly and helpful people we met. One morning we made a...

The host and staff of this silent and clean riad was very friendly and kind - we truly felt "taken care of" from the first minute. For travellers who want to stay in the heart of the medina, very close to Djeema El-Fnaa and the (nice, less aggressive part of) souq, this is the place to be. You find some...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Alamir is a place which we wanted quite at the same time intimate and friendly, close to the excitement of souks and far from the noise, easily accessible and nevertheless nested everything at the bottom of an alley of the Medina. Placed within one of its most prestigious districts, it is in two minutes of a taxi and in seven minutes on foot of the famous Place Jemaa El Fna. ... more   less
