A dark depressing dingy place. I had to stay here as part of an EXPLORE travel package. Its very basic and should only be considered if you are on a poor budget or are desperate. Its noisy being between two main roads. (TIP; ask for a room at the back, they are slightly quieter); Rooms consist of a bed and... More

I stayed here two nights as part of a package tour (it was a hiking tour and this was the first and last night). Hotel is conveniently located and staff was nice. It's just a bit drab. Carpets need to be replaced, a good paint job in the rooms, maybe more artwork on the walls. When I first checked into... More

I had a medium room on floor 5 that was reasonably clean and it had a balcony but the shower was too low and the toilet didn't flush properly so waste was left. The Air Conditioning didn't work in the room I was in - the hotel does make you hand in your key whenever you leave the hotel which... More

Located in an up and coming area with swish hotels along the road, the Imilchil is quite basic, but provides you with a good value, fucntional stay. the staff are very friendly and helpful. Meals are functionala nd service a tad slow. Not a place that i would recommend for a family to stay in because there is little or... More

This hotel just outside the medina walls has a some nice lobby lounges, but very basic rooms with twin beds. You could be anywhere in the world. Reasonably clean, and the heating worked (important in December). The toilets don't flush properly and water is sometimes brown in the sink. Definitely bring bottled water. Shower pressure was good. Breakfast is very... More

I came here with a group and I had made an additional booking for one extra night through my travel agency. When checking in, I asked the staff whether they had well received the payment for the extra night and they told me 'yes yes everything is fine'. I asked again the three consecutive days of my stay with the... More

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. very poor standard. The bathroom didn't look as if it has been cleaned any time recently. I even found public hair in the bath!!!! Very poor standard of cleanliness. Staff completely uninterested. Very very poor service. They obviously have only one coffee pot in this hotel as we all have to wait in the morning... More

I stayed here before and after a hiking trip in the Atlas mountains. Air conditioning did not work on two occasions other than that rooms ok but a little tatty. Quite a bit of road noise. Shower had seen better times. Breakfast uninspired for a city that celebrates food. I had lunch once which was surprisingly nice. They also organised... More

This was an ok place to stay, about 15-20 mins walk from Jemaa El Fna (far too long when the temperature reached 40C). Half the staff was very friendly, like the young people in the reception and the bell-man and washing lady, but the rest were always too busy to notice you, or gave you the wrong thing when you... This is supposed to be a 3 star hotel but it is run down & badly needs a makeover. We were offered a room with a 'garden view', which in reality was a bit of waste land where rubbish was being burned! Our toilet didnt flush in the first room we were offered so we changed rooms, only to find... More
