I wanted to give my 75-year-old mum a nice birthday present and she wanted to see Marrakech, based in a riad. Riad dar Beldia looked suitable, particularly because we needed a room with twin beds (not a double). After huge delay reaching the airport (massive thunderstorm - no-one's fault) and a 90minute wait to get through immigration (they really need...

My husband and I stayed here during a two day, sight-seeing tour of the Marrakech Medina. It was a calming and quiet retreat from all the hustle and bustle of old town. The main area was well appointed and always manned by one of the delightful staff. They seemed to always be available to welcome us with kind greetings, tea,...

After a welcome mint tea,the recieptionist showed us a map and how to explore Marrakech without getting lost. Then he showed us the 250-year-old building which was a piece of art itself, and its lovely terrace as well. The room was narrow but clean and efficiently. The breakfast was very exquisite, and for early start-off was available. And it was very close to Palace Bahia.We...

This was a great little riad in a super quiet area of the Medina.. The room was super cute and the decor was traditional Moroccan. The staff was very warm and accommodating.. The rooftop was super relaxing at night. There was also someone on staff 24 hours a day, so even if I needed something in the middle of the...

Peaceful and quiet in a nice part of town. Slightly difficult to find first time. Staff were friendly and spoke good English although we're very timid. Room was clean, had AC and set out nicely. Breakfast was tasty and included.

Karim and Abdul split the morning and evening shifts between them and they are both pleasant, knowledgable and very accomodating. The ladies who prepare breakfast and clean the rooms...
