After an exhausting 2 week journey, Dar Roumana was our last stop. Thankful for a beautiful room, enormous tub, and wonderful food (and wine!) we were truly in heaven. So much so that we really didn't want to leave the building. Mohammed was so helpful- even trying to fix my broken suitcase that had busted rolling through the cobblestone alleys....

We spent five nights at Dar Roumana in the Yasmina suite and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The property is tucked away (as is everything in the medina) and is grander than charming. It was quiet, beautiful, authentic, and offered so much more than most "hotels". Vanessa was incredibly helpful with everything we needed and even those we didn't know we...

We were in Fes for two nights and stayed on second floor suite with its own balcony and canopy bed! From the moment you open the door everything is marvelous surprise, breathtakingly beautiful and staff couldn't be more helpful and kind. It is true that dinner is served in courtyard and can hear talking until 10-11PM if there are people...

We spent two nights at Dar Roumana in late October. The Yasmina suite is remarkable, as is the rest of this beautiful dar - definitely the best hotel we stayed in during our 10 days in Morocco. Vanessa was incredibly helpful and responsive, both in answering our questions before our stay and helping to curate our time once we'd arrived...

We had wonderful two nights in this charming riad. The riad is absolutely beautiful and you notice in every corner how much attention they paid to detail. Very nice and friendly staff, unfortunately we could not try the dishes pepared by the french chef but had very good maroccan dinner prepaired by one of the staff members. We highly recommend...

This was a great place to stay for a refreshingly different sort of family holiday. We stayed in the Roumana suite, just across from the Qarmousa suite where our 3 young kids were. This worked perfectly, with a beautiful courtyard between us. We all enjoyed the fantastic breakfasts, the kids loved the homemade jams and breads. Vanessa organised a tour...

We could not have been happier with our choice to stay here for 4 nights over our wedding anniversary. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we really enjoyed the Riad and people. Vanessa is just a gem and her husband the chef cooks better than some of the Michelin star restaurants we have been to. Vanessa...

Our experience in Fes was very much positive influenced by this riad and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the upper room. Very clean, lots of space and great shower. The house is beautiful and the room booklet is helpfull. Vanessa, the hostes, was always there to help us plan our trip and tours. The best...

My husband and I stayed at Dar Roumana for six days and loved it. Our room was vast and so beautifully appointed (the tile work is astoundingly lovely)--plus we had a terrace that overlooked the medina and a tranquil hillside which was a great place to rest after a day in the souks! Vanessa is a perfect manager --no detail...

Dar Roumana is the best place I've ever stayed, a truly magnificent traditional riad. The staff are welcoming, sincerely friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. They happily organise tour guides and meals if desired. Room was spacious and beautiful with huge bath, bathrobes and beautiful bath products. Delicious breakfast, great views from the terrace. All in all I wish...

All rooms (4 suites and 1 double room) are decorated with traditional arts and crafts, intricate carved plaster, high cedar ceilings, mosaic tile floors, and hand-crafted furniture.
