Of the five riads we stayed at in Morocco, clearly our favorite! Spectacular courtyard, beautifully furnished. Excellent breakfast (the berber omelette was particularly good). Very quiet compared to other riads. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Idrissy is located in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage medina, but just enough of the really busy main roads to be pleasant. Beautiful, overgrown inner courtyard for dinner/breakfast. Robert, the owner, welcomed us the first morning (the US election results had just been announced) and gave an extremely helpful 15min intro to town & sights. The entire staff...

Located in a stunning building this Riad is amazing. we spent 4 nights here and the staff are exceptional and could not have been more helpful. The attached Ruined Garden cafe is a great location for breakfast and dinner and the food is tasty and well-priced. This is the benchmark against which all other accommodation we stay in will be...

We stayed in this Riad on a recent trip to Fes. Their multilingual staff there were extremely helpful, organising taxi's and porters ahead of our arrival to take us direct to and from the door of the Riad. At the door we were met by Ottman (spelling?) who welcomed us and set about arranging everything to make us as comfortable...

We had a very long day traveling to Fes from Marbella Spain. We arrived at midnight. The hotel sent people to help us find the place. We followed a porter through dark narrow medieval streets. We immediately got full value in an authentic experience. The people greeted us at the hotel so warmly and took great care of us realizing...

I recently had the pleasure of spending four wonderful nights in the Shoowaf Room at the marvelous Riad Idrissy. As you walk through the main entrance you pass through the magical Ruined Garden, a very cozy, comfortable space offering some very delicious food and drink. You then enter the main courtyard of the house and are greeted by a spectacular...

Large room and great service. Very personal service; from ensuring that rooms are comfortable (including AC), arranged a walking guide, and dinner out in town. The restaurant, Ruined Garden, is excellent. The riad also has a two century old history.

We stayed two nights at this riad, and we had a great time. Overall, this riad is strategically located, and has awesome staff; all are very friendly and helpful. Throughout the reservation process and stay we've dealt with Rob, Fatima, Osman, and Abdullatif. The local staff spoke great English and are very accommodating. Fatima helped us organize transfers from Marrakech...

Our top floor room was gorgeous, with easy access to the terrace. We had no trouble finding the hotel thanks to detailed instructions from the owner. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We had wonderful, relaxing meals in the outdoor garden. The picturesque profusion of plants, combined with traditional Moroccan architecture and decor (and attentive British and Moroccan hosts/staff)...
