We stayed on a lovely room off the terrace. The private room itself was large for a hostel room, ensuite, and only $13 per night per person. The location is a short walk away from Place R'cif, a main entrance to medina. The staff was incredibly helpful; for our day there, they gave us a map and lots of ideas...

"Funky Fes" was the first place we stayed at during our trip to Morocco. The staff was really helpful and nice. They provided a free breakfast and also had a kitchen that made pretty good food if you wanted to eat in the hostel, which we did twice. There was a great terrace with a view of the Medina. We...

I stayed in Funky Fes in September, and I had a really good time. The staff is super nice, the rooms are clean, the bathroom was super nice, breakfasts were good (and included, if I recall!) and they make sure you are able to discover the city and the country the way you want, safely, without getting scammed. I took...

I would definitely recommend staying in this hostel when you're in Fes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the hostel is nice and clean with a great rooftop area, the breakfast was good and the meals from the restaurant are huge and delicious - one meal could easily feed two people. We took the morning medina tour with Abdul and...

I stayed in FunkyFes for over a Week and I really enjoyed it, The location near Rcif Market, where you are in the Medina, but not directly in the narrow alleyways made it easy to get to at the first time arriving and the people in the neighbourhood happyly gave me directions (without asking for money). Sleeping in the roomy...

This hostel is beautifully decorated and worth every single penny. We had a very comfortable stay, and a delicious breakfast was also provided. It gets pretty chilly here at night, but the hostel gives us nice, thick blankets to keep us warm and the bed was comfortable. It is also easy to meet people and I met some great people...

This riad hostel is located within the medina, but still close to the main road to allow easy access. We took a petit taxi from the station that cost Dh 10. The staffs are friendly and professional, especially Yahya. He is very resourceful: when the “@“ sign button on the desktop PC keyboard is not working, he suggested me to...

Salem aleikum ! I've been in the funky fes hostel for 3 nights in october. The stuff is very friendly and you also have the possibility to meat a lot of people there. It's also cheaper than other riads. They offer some tours to the medina, to Meknes and Volubilis or to the desert. Especially the tour through the medina...

Good place with very friendly staff and a very lovely roof to chill out with everyone - a good place to meet people and plenty of opportunities to make good daytrips. Places to sleep are good. One might prefer bathing area and toilet not in sleeping area, but it has it charms too. Their assigned daily tour guide for the...

We arrived super late in the evening and left the next day so we didn't have much time at the hostel at all. But what we did experience was great! Comfortable beds, great bathroom, beautiful terrace and friendly staff. I would definitely stay again when visiting Fes and recommend to anyone :)
