This was quite a tranquil, relaxed stay after the hustle of Fez. The staff brilliant and I enjoyed their company, truly. Open folk who want you to enjoy as much as you can. Food was magic and fair price. The hostel had some great folk staying at my time. Really lovely vibe and chats. You can organise all the tours from...

Great hostel, with nice and helpful people, like Jaja ;) The building belonged the an old rich family and it is beautiful. Each dorm has it's own bathroom, quite relaxed. The beds and breakfast are good and you can ask advice about Fes and how much you should really spend on diner or buying things. Tip: Visit a local Hammam,...

It was priced ok. A bit cold in winter and shower could be cleaner. That said it the Funky Fez. I'd stay again but didn't care much for the Medina area in Fes. Rabat Medina seems nicer and less hassle.

Value for money is good - this hostel is good for 1-2 nights, IF you don't plan to actually spend any time in the hostel. But in terms of providing BASIC SHELTER, it fails in the winter because the temperature inside the hostel, day or night, is very cold! How about 10C during the day? Not exactly the sort of...

However, Yahya, the host at Funky Fes, gave me really great advice on how to deal with the situation and also gave very good tips on places to go to for meals as well as travel directions. He was really nice as well about...

I staying at the hostel for a night, arrived there in the night which was pretty cold also the the room was really cold but the blankets are pretty thick and cozy. Unfortunately the bathroom is en suite, so you can hear everything. The breakfast was very nice though with tea, bread, cake, honey and jam. We did the morning...

We arrived in the evening, room was booked beforehand. In real Funky Fes looked even brighter and better than shown on the photos! We booked room for 2, and I couldnt believe my eyes when lovely Khadija showed us the room - it was incredibly moroccan, beautiful, clean, well, no other words but perfect. It even had AC, and 3...
