We had an amazing time here! ABderahim Jbilou was our host and he said he was going to treat us like Queens. And he absolutely did! Everything we needed he took care and he even took us out to the square at night to see the city come alive after sunset with the Ramadan! You could see that he was... More

The man that helped us to find a place to park our car also took us to the riad. We would not have found it on our own. The email we received from Dar Tamo told us to go the Place R'cif, we could not find that and when we were there the next day it became clear to us... More

It was a pretty good stay and a good place. Beware, it is quite difficult to find if you are not familiar with the craziness that is Fes(specially if you are trying to avoid the touts)… but once you get there the first time you will have no problems. The staff is friendly and the breakfast plentiful; which is something... More

We really didnt understand how this place got such high ratings. Immediately upon arrival the man who worked there was pushing for us to do tours with their guides/"brother". The hot wateronly functioned 1 day out of 3 (they kept sayin it would be fixed). When we went to the tannery, this manager guy offered to take us for 15min... More

We stayed three nights in Dar Tamo Hostel and it was a fantastic and great experience. This is well situated, rooms and tidy and quiet. I also recommend to have a Fez's view from its terrace, an image that I'm not going to forget. The staff was very friendly and nice. This is a hostel that you can't skip if... More

I recommend this riad to everyone going to Fès. Its location is perfect for exploring the medina. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, likes to talk to guests and helps with any problems or excursions outside Fès - they also picked us up from the bus station. The building is tastefully decorated and the rooms are very pleasant. Breakfast... More

The riad itself was quite nice. The breakfast was reasonable and the owner very pleasant. On our first day I enquired to the owner about local parks or gyms for me to go running. The next morning a staff member said he'd take me to the Forrest where he and his friend run as they exercise/train every day of the... More

We stayed three nights in this lovely riad in the end of Dec 2013. It is located close to the main Souks, in the heart of the old Medina. The owner Abdel is charming and warm, he speaks several languages, and offered a good service overall with fair prices. A couple of days before arriving, he emailed us saying a... More

We spent two days in this lovely riad in the heart of the old medina in Fes and it was one of the nicest experiences in our whole trip to Morocco. “Be prepared to hear the morning Call to Prayer loud and clear in the Terrace Room from Karouine and other mosques. On the first morning (5.30) it nearly blew the socks off my feet. Take ear plugs. Be warned, there is a Muezzin who waits until everyone else has finished their Call to Prayer and everyone has gone back to sleep and then blasts his voice into that microphone for all to hear. If you weren't awake before, you certainly will be then.”
