We stayed in the room Celeste. This room has a great view with two big windows (which is not so easy to find in the medina), a good bed, heating/AC and a good size. The shower was broken when we arrived, but Said took care of replacing it the same day. However, the shower provides hot water , but only for 10...

My friend and I stayed in one of the lower-level rooms in Dar Sienna and couldn't have had a better time: the staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming, and are very forthcoming with recommendations or suggestions about their city! The breakfast is a fantastic spread, prepared fresh every day, and served on the georgeous terrace with perfect panoramic views...

Pros: - Nicely renovated, quiet building right in the heart of the medina, just next to the Zaouia de Moulay Idriss. - The staff is extremely welcoming and good-natured and they do the best job possible at orienting new arrivals in the hopelessly labyrinthian city. - There is a very generous free breakfast in the morning and the kitchen is...

Dar Sienna was the best of all the places we stayed in Morocco!! It's a peaceful, calm and quiet escape in the middle of the crazy Medina of Fes - perfect combination! It feels like staying in your own home but with the possibility of meeting nice and interesting people. Ahmed and Sayeed are very nice, friendly and helpful! The...

After booking Dar Sienna on the Internet, Sonhild, the owner, had gotten in touch with me directly. Since the dar was in the middle of the medina, which was difficult to navigate for a first timer, she offered a free personal guide from the train station. Our train was delayed but Sayeed patiently waited for us. As agreed on the...

The Dar Sienna is a stunning little oasis of calm at the heart of Fez's Medina, and the quality of the accommodation alone would be worthy of a great review. What makes this place truly special though is the welcome we received, from being greeted on arrival, being shown round the city, chatting over breakfast, to explaining how to make...

Dar Sienna was a wonderful place to stay and i would not try my luck staying elsewhere when I return to Fez. The staff was very helpful with absolutely everything and the rooms were warm; the entire Dar spotless clean. A beautiful terrace which looks over the entire medina, and right in the center of it aswell! Difficulty in finding...

We had little to no personal space during our stay at Dar Sienna. Although the staff are extraordinarily eager to help, we found the service to be inflexible, overly-regulated and somewhat invasive. For those who seek independence when they travel, we'd recommend avoiding Dar Sienna - we got stuck waiting 2 hours to check in while one of the staff...

I am delighted that you found our house to beautiful and the staff to be very helpful. I do understand your concerns about the check in process being irksome after a long trip. I am rather surprised though to hear you complain that got lost in the medina and complain about the lenght of the orientation session. The objective of...

DAR SIENNA is a very beautiful guesthouse with lovely decorated rooms. The terraces are very nice to look over the medina, to relax and to have the big and good tasty breakfast. And I have to mention the very nice people working there. We had a wonderful stay there and love to come back one day.
