The hotel is quite far from the centre of Casablanca and the Atlantic ocean. The room is very small and housekeeping services were not at the required level. There is complimentary coffee and tea service in the room but no bottle of water provided. The used glasses are not being changed every day.
Although the Market Restaurant for breakfast is large and pretty comfortable, the breakfast foods are very limited.

Modern hotel in the financial area of Casablanca. Large rooms, modernly furnished, complete; in the bathroom you will also find a bidet, which is rare in these parts. Large common areas, excellent dining room with buffet service (but also à la carte for those who wish) for both breakfast and lunches and/or dinners. Buffet very rich in alternative solutions of all kinds, both hot and cold.

Overall, the room was quiet, clean & comfortable. Loved the breakfast that is worth getting up for. Enjoyed the Roof Terrace Swimming Pool area with Cocktails however, the sunbeds are positioned in the shade under a large pergola and east facing so hardly get sun on them. Downsides were, our room was not made up for us on arrival despite I booked direct with the hotel and added in the Comment box that my 16 year old son will need a separate bed. We arrived for late check in and had to wait for an extra bed. The City view room requested turned out to look over a dried up, fenced off, disused open area resembling a builders site. As our room was made up for 1, not 2 as booked, there was only one bath towel and dressing gown. Had to keep requesting towels as HouseKeeping didn't supply more than one and on one of our nights, we came back to no towels at all and had to call Reception to order. None came, so we had to use the one towelling dressing gown. We used the gym which is very tiny and the main equipment was broken so only loose weights and running machine working. One bench, that's it. WARNING: Do not under any circumstances use the Euronet ATM that the hotel agrees to host in the Reception lobby. The machine does not give out the cash transcation and the hotel can't do anything to help. Euronet do nothing to help either. We have had to raise a dispute with our Bank and are yet to be refunded Kenzi chain should stop business with Euronet. On a plus, the hotel is positioned beside a Tram stop so getting into central Casablanca is easy, just be sure to have coins for the machine. Homely hotel, but I would rate it as a 3* not 4*.

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review about our hotel. We are pleased that you enjoyed the quietness, cleanliness, and comfort of our rooms, as well as our delightful breakfast offerings. It is great to hear that you appreciated our roof terrace and the refreshing cocktails available, providing a relaxing atmosphere to enhance your stay. We apologize for certain aspects of your stay falling short of your expectations. We understand how important it is for our guests to have their room ready upon arrival, and we regret the inconvenience you faced with the extra bed and preparation of your room. We acknowledge your disappointment with the view from your room and the challenges you encountered with the towel service. We take note of your feedback regarding our fitness center and will look into the concerns you raised about the equipment. Regarding your experience with the Euronet ATM, we are sorry for the frustration this caused; although it is an external service, we value your feedback and will take it into consideration in our ongoing efforts to offer a seamless experience at our hotel. Finally, we are delighted that the hotel's location beside the tram stop contributed positively to your experience, providing convenient access to central Casablanca. We hope that the ease of transportation and the proximity to various points of interest helped to make your stay more enjoyable. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best. I stayed at this hotel for a conference as it was recommended by the conference organizers. The hotel and rooms were clean. Staff were polite. Loubna at the front desk was very helpful. She helped to arrange a taxi to and from airport. Since I was arriving late at night and this was my first visit to Morocco, I was nervous. But she confirmed the price, driver details and reassured me. Very grateful for the peace of mind.
Breakfast buffet had many vegetarian options for me. Dinner didn't have as many choices, but Casablanca has many good restaurants. There is a nearby Carrefour market which is helpful.
It would be great if the hotel offered refillable filtered water on each floor. It would reduce plastic waste.

Dear Saroja, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel. We are pleased that you had an enjoyable stay with us and found our staff, particularly Loubna at the front desk, to be courteous and helpful. Your acknowledgment of the efforts in providing a seamless taxi arrangement and ensuring your peace of mind is greatly appreciated. We are glad to hear that our breakfast buffet met your vegetarian needs well. While our dinner options may not have been as varied, we hope that the proximity of Casablanca's vibrant culinary scene was a delightful complement to your dining experience. Furthermore, we take note of your valuable suggestion regarding refillable filtered water and are exploring ways to enhance our sustainability practices at Kenzi Sidi Maarouf Hotel. Our commitment is to provide a setting that combines comfort with convenience, and we hope you had the chance to enjoy our amenities such as the free Wi-Fi, fitness room, and our rooftop pool with its stunning views of Casablanca. Clean and very friendly staff. I recommend this hotel. Stayed for 2 months and was always given curtesy from the staff and very helpful also . Reasonable rates , but for me it was an ideal location as was close to the company I was working with and easy access to city centre with Tram within 300 meters.

The room was clean, staffs are very helpful. I had a pleasant and very long stay.
The area was close to most restaurants and Tram if you like to explore the places nearby. Breakfast was always fresh although the menu might not that suitable for Asians but that's just me.

Kenzi will ask for one night payment in advance not refundable.
Even if cancel on time or if you check in the day after.
It's better to just drop in and check in with no reservation.
In case they're full. There are a lot of similar hotels in the area.

Dear Mr. Pannatier, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. However, we would like to clarify the situation regarding your reservation. In accordance with international standards, we requested a guarantee to secure your booking. Our policy stipulates that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date, and as the reservation was not cancelled and the scheduled check-in was missed, we proceeded with the charge for the first night, which is standard practice for no-shows. The following day, when you arrived, the room was still available, but you chose not to proceed with your stay. Given the missed cancellation window and our adherence to the stated policy, we upheld the charge for the first night. We remain committed to transparency in all our processes and appreciate your understanding in this matter. Kind regards, Radouane ASFARI Directeur Général

Business hotel on the outskirts of Casablanca.
I stayed for 4 nights.

Definitely busy area during the day until evening but quiet room, if it weren't for the very noisy bathroom fan.

Some things left me a little disappointed, like the kettle in the room with only instant coffee and the usual basic tea.

Also the fact that, even upon request, slippers are not available, which are convenient for not walking barefoot, especially when showering.

The Wi-Fi, at least in my room on the sixth floor, barely works at all, there is no reception (I attach a screenshot) so anything bigger than a WhatsApp message takes eons to load, or doesn't load at all.

Very slow elevator, perhaps to fully enjoy the view of the overgrown and abandoned field of land just opposite?

Good buffet, excellent cleaning.

Hi Oscar C, by car, it is around 30 minutes from the airport, depending on how bad the traffic will be. No idea about the price. Enjoy!

You need to get the tram then the train. There's a website for public transport that tells you the timetable and cost. It's pretty cheap compared to a taxi which costs €30 or so.

Hi, How far is this hotel from the Mosque? Any free shuttle from airport?
Answer from N0mad_Am
Casablanca, Morocco6 contributions1 helpful vote
The hotel is located in the business area of Casa, you can take the tram at Zenith Station close to the hotel and get off near the medina. You would then need to take a bus or walk to the Mosque from there. There is a charge for the shuttle to the airport, currently 400MAD for 2 people.
