I've stayed a this Novotel in Casablanca multiple times. It is convenient to the Gare Casa Port and many good restaurants and shops. I was curious to see their Covid protocols...the last time I stayed here was in February 2020. They met me at the door with a temperature check and hand sanitizer; while I checked in at the front desk, they sanitized my luggage prior to taking it to the room. The room was clean and the air conditioning was excellent. I felt completely comfortable while there and was able to enjoy my stay in Casablanca at the beginning and end of a two week visit to Morocco.

Poor maintenance of the property, bad restaurant :
First night we were there, the air condition did not work in the room so they changed our room. No hot water in either room shower or sink
Second night - no hot water in shower in our room number 1099. They gave us key to another room to take shower
In one of the elevators, the button for zero floor (reception) doesn’t work - I had to get off at floor 1 and walk down
Restaurant has limited choices. In Breakfast, they don’t have cereals or juices .
The staff speaks and understands limited English , especially the restaurant staff

Room was as expected: clean and good bed, many pillows, convenient desk, some hangers, power available, ageing bathroom. A good night. But the breakfast was so bad that even my cup of coffee was unfriendly.

This is the third hotel after I had a bad experience at another Accor property, I deliberately paid more to hope for better service. when checking in I asked, with all due respect whether you can honor my reservation with a complimentary breakfast or not. ps I know Accor doesn't give free breakfast no matter how high your status is and this is my biggest mistake booking at Accor because Accor is the worst hotel program I've had, compared to the Marriot and Hilton programs. the staff said, he would ask his superior because he had no rights, I said if possible please inform immediately. Until the next day I asked reception again they said their superior had not come and I asked, can you call and ask him, and they I said I would ask, I said BF would be finished before 10 o'clock, the solution they gave was, you can come to the restaurant if it's not on honor, that means you just pay, if you have doubts, then you don't have to come and have breakfast there. I was very surprised to hear answers that weren't convincing and I felt like I was begging for free breakfast and that also wasn't necessarily approved, do star hotels like Novotel have a proper answer like that to platinum members? Just so you know, to get platinum status we have to stay at least 60 days, and this is how they serve guests?? Until 10 o'clock after breakfast was finished, the staff who promised to ask superiors until now still don't give news, stay at the hotel and I have to pay around Euro 160 feels very nothing with bad service given, is it difficult to ask the superior directly or ask another superior on duty, if Accor is really too stingy to be loyal to his guests, just say from the start that you don't want to honor free breakfast for me and that's all done I can ask to cancel and find a hotel with a loyalty program that is much more humane for his loyal customers, oh yeah and also the cleaning staff came into my room twice without knocking, or maybe knocked once and immediately opened it without waiting for 3x and where did you call it from but this went straight into the room, I was barely dressed, really very surprised, especially when someone entered female and I male. really accor 4 star service with a room for 160 euros like this?? I will never come back to this hotel or property accor again i will stop and avoid. As much as possible I will finish my points and anti-choose your hotels.

This is one of the worse hotels I've ever been in.
Don't let the cutesy lobby fool you. The rooms are ridiculous. There is a tiny cubicle that contains the toilet. That is all it contains. There is no sink no hand towel no soap.
Once you have finished doing your business, you leave the cubicle walk around the corner past the clothes closet, and into the other bathroom that has the sink, the soap and a towel. Really, who thought this was a good idea.
The pillows are lumpy and the floors look like they haven't been vacuumed in a month. If that. But they do look better than the hallway carpet that looks like it has never been vacuumed.
Just don't stay here

Stayed here on a family holiday for 6 nights. Had two superior rooms with sofa beds in each,with Oceane view .reception staff were extremely helpful allocating both rooms on the same floor,housekeeping staff were very attentive to any needs.
All in all a very welcoming spotless hotel with great staff.

My family is currently staying with the property and having the worst experience.
The room was unclean, the refrigerator and hot water kettle extremely smelly and dirty. No hot water for bath, they came fixed it after calling the reception, maintenance, housekeeping 10 times, finally going down to the reception after getting so frustrated. When the work was finally done, they leave the bathroom dirty (dirty shoes mixed with all the water). Nobody sent for cleaning.
The manager at the Novotel Casablanca is horrible, extremely rude. We got here because of the earthquake and are quite shaken up. With all this too he had no empathy. We asked for a bottle of water as we have a toddler who wanted it. The manager rudely said no. Since we have had to change the refrigeration, kettle, hot water- the manager has only been showing an attitude of entitlement as if he was doing us a favor by letting us stay in his property that we have paid for.
We are staying here for 9 nights as all our plans had to be canceled. Highly recommend DO NOT stay here.
We cannot even change the hotel now as we have already lost a lot of money with the change in travel plans.

We stayed a total of 3 nights on this hotels. One when we arrived to Morocco and 2 before leaving. We love the location. If you leave to the right you will have the Marina Shooping Center and if you leave to the left you have a great market with lots of good stuff and good pricing. I'm mentioning this because we almost missed the market for not knowing.
The front desk team is very nice specially Nabil that was very accomodating. I was assigned a room in floor 10th and smelled like somebody smoked on it; they changed me to floor 6th and it was nicer. The 6th floor did not had carpet which I liked more. For breakfast they have a good variety of things and is convenient. The AC was not working good but opening the window did the trick.

Good location near the train station. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are very tired. Slow elevators sometimes have to wait 10 minutes. Air conditioning not working and room very stuffy. Can open windows a bit but it’s a noisy area of the city. A Coca Cola in the Restaurant will cost $5cdn which is outrageous.
