Very nice spot on the beach. Its right on the strip, plenty of walking distance to restaurants and clubs along the shore. Its not far from the Mall and other sights. The mosque was on the other side along the shore. If you love the coast line, this your place to stay for a reasonable rate.

just behind the hotel there is a night club. non stop music is in my room. on the other hand, compared to many middle class hotels in morocco azur is clean and tidy. it is just next to the ocean in cornish area, where you can find lots of nice restaurants and cafes!

this booking was really disappointing. I wanted to have an ocean view room, so when we checked in, they put us on the 5th floor facing away from the ocean. I asked to be moved, and they put us on the 2nd floor on the front, which was very nice. (Rooms are ok, nothing fancy, but decent). So when the music and traffic started up at 10pm I didn't think much of it, but when it continued until 6am, I was pretty frustrated. I know they are not going to come out and say, you should stay on the back side of the hotel or you won't be happy, but I don't think that's in their nature. Staff at front desk was cold and unhelpful, even with simple questions about where to catch a cab. Bellman was excellent, but you have to have them do everything, from setup the safe, to turn on the AC, etc. I would never, ever book this hotel again.

On the website, the hotel appears to be a very good, almost luxurious hotel. In reality, the whole thing seems more like a dump and I'll be honest, as a woman alone, I would feel totally uncomfortable here. When we arrive, the actual lift is broken, we are led to the kitchen and take a very small, old-fashioned lift to our room. The windows are dirty, there is a hair in the bathtub, the mirror is rusty, the bathroom door is difficult to open and close, the safe is broken, WiFi doesn't work, there is only one socket in the double room, and the room door doesn't really lock. When we want to go back to our room in the evening, the second lift doesn't work either and we have to climb the stairs to the 5th floor. Constant humming (probably from the lift or water) and thin walls.
Pool is as described, we haven't tried the spa yet.
All in all, just disappointing. Not again!

Arvoid if possible. The doors of the rooms are not locking properly, no water kettle, empty mini bar, no paper tissues and the bathroom is old. Its not a safe area in the evening. Its definitely not a 4 stars hotel and the service is far below European standards.

Definitely to be avoided. A hotel with a nightclub above the rooms without sound insulation or double glazing.
The noise pollution is beyond anything you can imagine.
We booked at reception and they failed to tell us this inconvenience.
Dirty rundown

I made the mistake of ignoring the reviews on this site and I suggest those reading this heed my advice. Like so many before me at this Hotel I arrived and had no reservation. I was placed in a 2nd floor room which while cleant was run down. At midnight the local disco turned the music up 1000db and sleep became impossible. at 3am it sounded like everyone left the nightclub and partied outside my window. I went downstairs in the morning to see if they had found my reservation and to ask for a quiet room. no reservation but they agreed to move me. it took 3 more requests before they did anything. The breakfast was poor and the internet and television rarely work. The staff have no interest in being helpful and the man of the front desk even had the guts to ask me for a tip after I had such a bad stay. Find somewhere nicer

The hotel Azur is the most awful hotel I have ever stayed in. It was rated as a 4star by Hotelopia, but it is in fact a three star though I have stayed in better unrated hotels. The room was dank and musty with hard bolster pillows on the bed, The tv and the air-conditioning remote controls did not work. The food was atrocious; dinner was served with cold frozen vegatables. the breakfast was minimal. The room faced the beach where the music from one of the bars kept us awake until 5am. The last straw was when I got trapped in the lobby toilet and two men had to come and rescue me, I was due to stay there for 4 nights, but checked out in disgust after the first night.

Words cannot express my disapointment by this hotel and the greedy manager.

We made a room reservation through a well known internet booking site, everything was fine and then the day before we travelled we received an email to inform us the price had been increased. Cleary supprised by this i contacted the booking site, but none of the available staff spoke french and could not call the hotel. Being a french speaker i was greated by a most unpolite and unhelpful manager, when i asked him why the price had increased he told me "because he can" and that he was unhappy that the booking site took too large a percentage! Clearly he did not have the intelligence to consider that we would want to book excursions through the hotel, eat in the restaurant etc and would make the price difference up through other means.

Wow, what a way to do business!!

If you want my advice steer well clear.

Old , unloved, smelly, room.
The bed was hard & the grey pillows old and saggy, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyway the NOISE from outside made it near impossible to sleep. The traffic competed with the night club music. finally stopped about 5:30 am to be replaced with the street cleaning machines.
No mini bar, no jug for making tea.
Not even a bottle of water.
Don’t expect 4 star
