Nestled near United Nations Square, the Hyatt Regency Casablanca is often lauded for its excellent location, with easy access to attractions like the Hassan II mosque. Guests have called out the hotel's range of amenities, including a vibrant pool and quality dining options, as well as the attentive service provided by the staff.
However, opinions on the hotel's atmosphere and rooms are mixed, with some praising the cultural experiences and views while others note noise and maintenance issues. Reviewers also caution that the value proposition could be better, pointing to high food prices and rooms that may not reflect the cost.

Detailed Reviews
I’ve been here for two weeks and will be staying for more.
This hotel have it all; from the entrance where you are welcomed by the friendly concierges, and the charming lobby where you are greeted by the receptionist to make the necessary to book the room.
Then comes the large rooms where you feel comfortable and the room service stuff who makes sure that you never be in lack of any of your needs or the cleanliness of the room ( thanks to Bouchra and Karim).
When it comes to the breakfast you are welcomed with the lovely smile of Aoula who makes sure you get your perfect spot and the service is just great you are always watched in order to be served.
Comes the gym section where Khaoula greets you as great as the gym is equipped!
Seriously nothing is missing in this hotel!

The hotel is located in a very central location, behind the old Medina and close by to the Hassan II Mosque as well as the central market. The interior is modern and beautifully decorated with local and international style.
The greatest part of the hotel though is its employees. They were all extremely friendly and attentive, always with a big smile in their face ready to help us in any way. The breakfast team was great every day making our day start wonderfully. Aoula and Ayoub were there every morning to attend to us with honest care and wonderful sense of hospitality.
We visited also their Moroccan restaurant Dar Beida which offers live music and belly dancers and dinng experience in a Bedouin tent like environment. There Driovish was our main waiter and host giving us a great experience. He was funny, warm, attentive and genuine welcoming.
Overall a great experience in this hotel because of the employees. Keep up the great job guys!!!

I had wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca. Starting with the staff, they were the most welcoming and caring people I have met recently in an hotel. Wonderful service and they even modified the breakfast menu to adapt to my request.
The facility was well prepared and ready for COVID-19. Sanitizer gels everywhere, tissues to use for elevator buttons, careful set up in the dining area with the right spacing of the tables. I felt completely comfortable being in the hotel.

The choice to stay at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca was based primarily on location and other reviews on this site.
Check-in was conducted in a courteous and timely manner with clear explanations given of facilities and inclusions.
The rate included Club Lounge access and this was by far one of the highlights of our stay at the Hyatt Regency.
Seddik who was running the lounge in the evenings was professional beyond words. He was attentive, warm and caring and is a person who genuinely loves his job. If anyone is completed suited to a role and is in their element, it is Seddik!!
We took the Club Lounge breakfast in the mornings and were hosted by Osama. Again, he was another staff member who completely takes ownership of his area and would do anything to ensure his guests are well looked after!!
Osama and Seddik truly made our stay at the Hyatt Regency one to remember and they are both brilliant at what they do and are massive assets to this hotel!!
The room overlooked the Medina and was clean, comfortable and exactly as expected.
In summary, it is the staff that make this hotel and I truly cannot fault the service given.
Our stay was absolutely beyond expectations and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I stayed in a junior suite and had an amazing view over the souk across to the mosque, exactly like in the advertising photo. The room is huge & well appointed, with a bath tub, coffee machine, big tv, iron & board, hairdryer etc. The welcome was friendly & warm, including welcome tea and a little later a plate of biscuits delivered to the room. My Covid test was easily arranged for my flight back a few days after. I forgot about the drinks in the lounge area 6pm to 8pm, oh well I missed out because my memory is failing me these days. The hotel is elegant and beautiful. Unfortunately for me the pool was closed, I did have plans to lounge around the pool, but I was able to take some photos and it’s a lovely area too. Across the road from the hotel are cafés and food outlets such as McDonalds, KFC, Cafe de France ( only go here for drinks & people watching) & other snack places if you’ve spent all your $$ on the hotel! Catch a petit taxi behind the hotel to go see the mosque, don’t pay more than 20DH. The mosque guided tour costs 130DH per person, I suggest you get there for the first tour at 9am. The hotel is like a tranquil oasis when you walk in through the gates after a day out. The security is tight, I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The hotel is in a great location. I definitely recommend staying here if you can afford it.

We stayed here on our last leg of our Moroccan vacation. Daily breakfast buffet was superb! We were greeted warmly every morning by the manager of the Living Room ( breakfast location) Mr. Nubein ( hopefully I spelled his name right) , Omar seated us almost everyday to our favorite spot, very attentive to our needs, he had mint tea, juices, yogurt spread out on our table, it was like having your personally butler, he was the best so far of all the waiters who have helped us in all our vacation lifetime with Hyatt brands. Waiid ( hopefully I got his name right) from housekeeping always made sure our room was clean and we had bottled waters everyday. I had an upset stomach due to an ice cream I ate in one of our tours ( not by the hotel), Rania from the front desk helped us find a pharmacy close by to get medicine ( I had ran out of it) she helped me set it up in my Google maps and pointed out clear directions.Junel from the spa was such a great masseuse, I had booked a relaxing message with her and she was very good with relieving my aching muscles. Khalid from the front desk who assisted us during check out was also very helpful as I had to clarify some charges. The pool water was very crisp, we had food and drinks by the pool and it was so refreshing. Just be mindful there is construction going around outside of the pool area( you can't see as it was closed off) I did not mind it, the staff increased the music volume so it did drown it. Do remember that they are developing the city in time for the African Cup and World Cup so it's part of the process, there is construction everywhere in the city. Thank you Hyatt Casablanca for closing our Moroccan holiday with good memories. We will definitely be back.

We are also glad that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet, the crisp pool water, and the food and drinks by the pool. The staff at this hotel simply can't handle leisure guests and conferencing at the same time, so call in advance and make sure there's no conference on the dates you're looking at booking. On the second day of our two-day stay, we found the doors out to pool locked shut. A cleaner nearby told us it was because of the conference having lunch... but it was 3pm. On enquiring at reception, we were told the pool was open. After some baffled phone calls, the manager eventually told us that they had sent someone to unlock the pool for us. Unfortunately, we were met with a wall of conference delegates, and various barricades of benches and shelving arranged to block access to the pool and loungers. Upon negotiating those, we were offered menus by a lost-looking pool attendant. He disappeared to get them and literally never came back. Eventually I found a confused manager holding two pool menus and asked her who we should order from; the pool attendant, apparently. I pointed out that he had vanished, and she agreed to take out orders herself. It took twenty minutes to make the order and a further thirty minutes to deliver a single Coke Zero. Food took even longer because they had closed the pool bar and kitchen because of... the conference!
Furthermore, we booked through Hyatt Privee to get benefits, including food and beverage credit. Staff at reception didn't mention this during check in and didn't know about it when pressed later. After some calls to HQ, the manager admitted we were entitled to $100 of credit. We then had to mention it AGAIN at check out to get it taken off the bill. The reception staff all need retraining.
The person that should do the training is upstairs on the 8th floor. Seddick, in the club lounge, is the jewel in the otherwise tarnished crown of this hotel. I have never felt so welcomed, so at home and so attended to in a hotel or airport lounge before. He's a gem and if I ever return to this hotel, he alone will be the reason why.

Wonderful staff & service. Great location to walk to lots of things in Casablanca and we felt safe walking around this area as two women (also nice the hotel is gated and have staff on 24/7). They will also call you taxis if you want to go to the mosque or airport etc.
Rooms were heavenly with big fluffy bath towels & robes. Separate toilet to bathroom and big bath tub to soak in. We had a higher level room with view of the mosque that was stunning.
Pool is huge and was pretty quiet even though we went on a weekend.
For $300 AUD a night it was expensive for Morocco but we felt we got our moneys worth as it is a 5 star hotel and lived up to it!

I’m a Marriott Lifetime Titanium member and an Ambassador Elite member . A very loyal marriottite ! So was skeptical staying at a non Marriott hotel.
But was pleasantly surprised by this one. I rarely stay at Hyatt’s and didn’t expect to treated anything more than an ordinary guest. But Amina Marhoum - the front office manager took no efforts to make sure this trip was great .
Old hotel, rooms can be better - restaurants great, so are the meeting rooms - what sets it apart is the well groomed and ever smiling staff that want to make sure you’re always looked after.
Location is great as well!

Stay Report - 12/29 to 12/31
Location: The hotel is well located in Casablanca. It's in a pleasant area of town with several restaurants around it as well as a tram stop and a big flea market behind it. Red Taxis position themselves right out front so you can always get a ride somewhere too. It's an easy drive to the mosque or the beach or any of the sights you want to see. CMN is about 30 minutes away with no traffic but more accurately about 50 minutes if you drive during the day.
Hotel: Despite being an older property the hotel is extremely well maintained. There's a gorgeous lobby with a library themed bar just off it that also has a limited bar menu. Next to a Cartier store is another restaurant which has indoor and outdoor seating. There's an outdoor pool around the back of the hotel and a lounge on the 8th floor.
Check In: We arrived at 2 PM and got right into our upgraded suite room. The staff were so friendly to a man here. Everyone remembered my name and fell over themselves to help me.
Room: I had booked a junior suite but was upgraded in advance to a Regency Executive Suite. It was an amazing room with a huge living room with a desk, powder room, separate table with two chairs, coffee area and then a large bedroom with outlets next to each side of the bed, a closet and a huge bathroom with a separate tub and shower. My only complaint is that the Wifi was a little spotty.
Lounge: The lounge is located on the 8th floor. They had breakfast from 0630 to 1000 and it was actually an extensive spread for breakfast in a lounge. There were scrambled eggs and meats, smoked salmon, meats, cheese, breads and cereal. Evening cocktails ran from 1800 to 2000 and they had wine, beer and a few liquors plus more cheese, meats and smoked salmon. The lounge attendants were incredibly helpful and friendly too.
Dining: Globalists can choose breakfast in the lounge or restaurant. We also had lunch at the restaurant and it was quite good.
Overall an incredible stay. I'd consider this the nicest Hyatt Regency I've ever been to and the service was impeccable. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel or my stay here.
