This hotel is stated to be a 4-star hotel, but in reality, this is far from the truth. My stay at this hotel was quite uncomfortable as per the following reasons:
- the logistics and organisation were not good, as our hotel room lacked basic needs like cleaning in the bathroom, on the walls, toilet and more. We also needed to ask for towels 2 times before we received them.
- The sink was not draining the water at all, and it took ages before the water was gone. We had to ask the staff to fix it 3 times, and only then a technician came and fixed it in 5 minutes.
- 4 days into our trip we discovered ants running around in the bathroom sink, so we had to try to stop them by plotting some napkins into the hole were they came from
- The shampoo was also needed but only two were provided for the whole stay, and refill was not given
- The room sometimes had a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, and there were mould on the walls
- The smell of the hallway was also quite Smokey and had a bad and old smell
- It looks like they did a good job investing in the reception area with good sofas and new clean walls, but the other part of the hotel is lacking.
- The room phone was also not working at all.
- The breakfast was also quite dry and 90% of the food was desserts of dry cakes, pancakes, eggs etc. The juice was fresh though.
- The housekeeping was good and the cleaning staff did their job well.
- The AC and TV were working but the remotes did not.
- The elevator in the hotel was working but was quite sketchy as the floor of it didn’t feel stable, so it felt a bit dangerous to stand in the middle of the elevator
- There was also a lot of clamour from the neighbours on our floor, and there were quite weird sounds coming from their rooms, which could be heard.
- The keycard of the hotel also only lasted a day, and needed to be recharged every evening.

Overall, the hotel lacks a lot of basic things that a hotel should have and this is nowhere near a 4-star hotel as per the above. I would personally give this hotel 1,5-2 stars. It is quite overrated and I wouldn’t recommend choosing this hotel. After reading the reviews of this hotel, we still had some hope that the hotel would be good, but this was not the case. Don’t trust the reviews of booking.com as the reviews on Google give the full picture of this hotel.

I really think that whoever took the photos was really good at editing them... Terrible, dirty, sticky, smelly rooms... Be careful if you ask to call a taxi, don't pay to the hotel guy but to the taxi driver... They will do everything they can to cheat you .. bring your marriage certificate otherwise they will force you to take two different rooms... In fact, don't even consider this hotel even though the location is ideal for the center... many customers have run away from the hotel... we won't go back never again.

Terrible.
We arrived at 3am - previously notified - and were told they were overbooked.
They “accompanied” us on foot to a hotel a 10-minute walk - it was 3 am I repeat - where they wanted the same strictly cash amount (we had just arrived, how to get them?) - withheld money in euros making the change in their favor - 2€.
Tiny room, so small that the front door would not open beyond 40 degrees and even lacked toilet paper!
Terrible. Not recommended.
Worst experience of our lives!!

Possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced, and that is after staying at a hotel in India with a dead rat in the toilet 🤦🏽‍♂️.

The inept concierge not only didn’t make you feel welcome but actively made it difficult to check in asking us to wait for half an hour whilst he finished his dinner , it was very strange… the room was dirty and we had no towels so had to ask the concierge for them which obviously never came.

COCKROACHES in the hallway.

Breakfast was a shamble’s with no one to clean the tables so everyone just waited eating standing up.

Nightmarish! It smells rotten both in the room and in the corridor, ants in the bed and the bathroom bin still full when we arrived.
On Booking the reviews seem good because they « force » customers to write a positive review by playing on the « punishment » factor.
Hotels like this must close.
The only positive note was the fairly good breakfast.

And a bad experience. An Alberico that I do not recommend to anyone. Arrogant welcome. Being Italian Moroccan and also speaking Arabic the service is terrible. There were cobwebs and roaches in the bathroom and everywhere. The hotel is dirty and smells like sewage. I saw the owner treat an employee who was cleaning the stairs with his bare hands badly and arrogantly. Total crap. Don't be fooled by the photos. They do not represent the hotel. Better to read the reviews, which unfortunately I didn't do, they confirm my experience..

I planned a trip to Europe and North Africa for a couple of weeks in June and July.
I was traveling out bound from NYC to London. The flight was canceled and there was nothing available for many days due to multi-day backlogs at all of London's airports..

In addition I also discovered that I needed surgery,

So for these two reasons I needed to cancel.
I canceled five other hotels without any penalty whatsoever.

This hotel not only charged me, but they also stop communicating with me once I asked for a refund.

Stayed here as my daughter stayed at New Year and said it was OK which it was! Rooms OK, clean and clean bedding. Had windows open for breeze but needed air-con at night which worked fine. Reception staff when we arrived were very slow and seemed confused by the room key system. Lift working and staff on the bedroom floors friendly. Breakfast served in the dining room which was very hot - no air-con and food being cooked. Second day could not get breakfast as room full plus no glasses or cups nor orange juice or coffee.

I booked but won’t go ! After booking.com confirmed the reservation I received an email from the hotel saying that they would do their best to provide room !!! I could not take the risk of being stranded ( 11pm+ check-in) without accommodation so requested penalty free cancellation. Booking.com informed me that the hotel refused and full charge due. Read the reviews, the worst I have ever seen and stay clear. Also very disappointed by booking.com seemingly being satisfied by this.

Upon our arrival the guy at the reception showed us into the waiting room. When we had been there for 45 minutes (and he had not been working) because there had been no one there for 10 minutes, my partner went to ask about the check-in and told him to keep waiting.
In the end we got tired and went to tell him what was happening. With a "xulesca and lazy" attitude he tells us that it is full (even though he has a reservation) and that we have no option to stay. Until we got serious and told him it was inadmissible, he didn't give us any other options. Finally we stayed at another company hotel and they paid for the taxi...And yet the quality of the hotel was not 4 stars at all. The fatal shower...
A shame!!
