- the logistics and organisation were not good, as our hotel room lacked basic needs like cleaning in the bathroom, on the walls, toilet and more. We also needed to ask for towels 2 times before we received them.
- The sink was not draining the water at all, and it took ages before the water was gone. We had to ask the staff to fix it 3 times, and only then a technician came and fixed it in 5 minutes.
- 4 days into our trip we discovered ants running around in the bathroom sink, so we had to try to stop them by plotting some napkins into the hole were they came from
- The shampoo was also needed but only two were provided for the whole stay, and refill was not given
- The room sometimes had a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, and there were mould on the walls
- The smell of the hallway was also quite Smokey and had a bad and old smell
- It looks like they did a good job investing in the reception area with good sofas and new clean walls, but the other part of the hotel is lacking.
- The room phone was also not working at all.
- The breakfast was also quite dry and 90% of the food was desserts of dry cakes, pancakes, eggs etc. The juice was fresh though.
- The housekeeping was good and the cleaning staff did their job well.
- The AC and TV were working but the remotes did not.
- The elevator in the hotel was working but was quite sketchy as the floor of it didn’t feel stable, so it felt a bit dangerous to stand in the middle of the elevator
- There was also a lot of clamour from the neighbours on our floor, and there were quite weird sounds coming from their rooms, which could be heard.
- The keycard of the hotel also only lasted a day, and needed to be recharged every evening.
Overall, the hotel lacks a lot of basic things that a hotel should have and this is nowhere near a 4-star hotel as per the above. I would personally give this hotel 1,5-2 stars. It is quite overrated and I wouldn’t recommend choosing this hotel. After reading the reviews of this hotel, we still had some hope that the hotel would be good, but this was not the case. Don’t trust the reviews of booking.com as the reviews on Google give the full picture of this hotel.

We arrived at 3am - previously notified - and were told they were overbooked.
They “accompanied” us on foot to a hotel a 10-minute walk - it was 3 am I repeat - where they wanted the same strictly cash amount (we had just arrived, how to get them?) - withheld money in euros making the change in their favor - 2€.
Tiny room, so small that the front door would not open beyond 40 degrees and even lacked toilet paper!
Terrible. Not recommended.
Worst experience of our lives!!
The inept concierge not only didn’t make you feel welcome but actively made it difficult to check in asking us to wait for half an hour whilst he finished his dinner , it was very strange… the room was dirty and we had no towels so had to ask the concierge for them which obviously never came.
COCKROACHES in the hallway.
Breakfast was a shamble’s with no one to clean the tables so everyone just waited eating standing up.

On Booking the reviews seem good because they « force » customers to write a positive review by playing on the « punishment » factor.
Hotels like this must close.
The only positive note was the fairly good breakfast.

I was traveling out bound from NYC to London. The flight was canceled and there was nothing available for many days due to multi-day backlogs at all of London's airports..
In addition I also discovered that I needed surgery,
So for these two reasons I needed to cancel.
I canceled five other hotels without any penalty whatsoever.
This hotel not only charged me, but they also stop communicating with me once I asked for a refund.
In the end we got tired and went to tell him what was happening. With a "xulesca and lazy" attitude he tells us that it is full (even though he has a reservation) and that we have no option to stay. Until we got serious and told him it was inadmissible, he didn't give us any other options. Finally we stayed at another company hotel and they paid for the taxi...And yet the quality of the hotel was not 4 stars at all. The fatal shower...
A shame!!
