In all of our travels internationally we tend to prefer five star luxury hotels from leading brands. But our stay at the understated but unique Le Doge changed our mind. Located on an unassuming street in an old Art Deco-ish building hotel appears to be fraying at the edges. But within an hour the secrets begin to unravel. A gorgeous Moroccan restaurant in the first floor is reminiscent of Le Grand Vefor in Paris. Rather unadorned roof top restaurant is led by a talented and Charming Catolonian Chef Gina who can cook a memorable meal. All the staff members ranging from the front desk, the GM, the bell boys and the wait staff leave nothing unattended. They are courteous, professional and personal. Service is top notch. You feel pampered. Staying at Le Doge may in fact change your mind about boutique hotels. "Elegance without warmth is arrogance".

Having stayed in various riads during our stay in Morocco, it felt strange to be in a traditional "hotel" with a front desk, a doorman and valet parking. But we were charmed by the service and the decor here. Each room is individually decorated (our party of 5 stayed in the Fritz Lang, the Ernest Hemingway and the Sacha Guitry rooms and all were elegant and tasteful), with excellent coffee and chocolates provided. The bed and the bathroom in our suite were both first-class, and the breakfast was tasty, though the service was a little haphazard (the fresh orange juice, for example, came long after we'd finished our teas and coffees and were about to leave). The staff were helpful and the experience was the perfect way to end a wonderful holiday.

Dear Andrew, Thank you very much for your feedback; we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us! We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences regarding breakfast. Normally, orange juice only takes a few minutes to prepare, but this time it took longer than expected. We appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next stay in Casablanca! Kind regards,

Our stay at Le Doge really was the highlight of our trip to Casablanca. The hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet part of town but still close to the medina, the Hassan II Mosque, and other attractions. The unique rooms are all beautifully decorated and spacious — our room (Jean Cocteau) even has its own patio. The luxurious bathroom comes with a towel warmer and toiletries that smelled so good. The restaurants (rooftop and Le Jasmine) are topnotch — nice breakfast selection and great service. But what really made our stay at Le Doge special was the staff. They treated us like royalty and made sure we always had everything we needed and more. From making last minute arrangements for an airport pick up to allowing us to check out late so we can squeeze in a hammam and massage (and relax in our room) before checking out, the staff went over and beyond to accommodate us — special thanks to Fatine and Amine! Thanks as well to Mohamed for the handy tips on getting around in Casablanca and Hasan for helping us get dirhams. A big shoutout and thanks to Majda for the amazing hammam and massage — the best we had in Morocco! I didnt get everyone’s names but the entire staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. If you ever find yourself in Casablanca, treat yourself, stay at Le Doge, and book a hammam/massage! Worth every penny!

I recently had a terrible experience at Hôtel Le Doge, and unfortunately, it's not the first time. The receptionist's attitude was shockingly unprofessional and incompetent. I had a scheduled meeting with a group on the rooftop, and when I arrived, instead of providing clear information and helping me join the group, the receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful.
He seemed confused and incapable of handling a simple request, making me feel unwelcome. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for an establishment that claims to offer luxury experiences. I was left frustrated by the lack of professionalism and the poor quality of the reception service, which put a damper on the rest of my visit.
I strongly urge Hôtel Le Doge to improve the training of their reception staff and ensure they can provide the level of service expected from a high-end hotel. If this doesn’t change, I will have to reconsider any future bookings or events at this location.

Our experience at Le Dodge Hotel exceeded expectations in every way possible. From the moment we stepped into our room, we were captivated by the stunning beauty and unique design.
The rooms were a true oasis of comfort, featuring a wonderfully plush bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the elegant decor to the luxurious bathroom amenities, which were by far the best we've encountered during our travels in Morocco.
In addition to the exceptional accommodations, the hotel's hospitality shone through at every turn. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and supported throughout our stay, offering valuable insights and assistance whenever needed.
The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the vibrant city of Casablanca, and the breakfast buffet provided a delicious start to our days of adventure.
We highly recommend Le Dodge Hotel to anyone visiting Casablanca, whether for business or leisure. With its stunning rooms, warm hospitality, and convenient location, it truly offers a memorable and delightful experience.

What a great hotel. Tucked away on a quiet side street. Helpful staff. Large pretty, well appointed clean rooms with large bathrooms. Comfy beds (which we found was a rarity on this trip). The softest most comfy slippers I’ve ever felt. And the rooftop restaurant food is fantastic - especially at dinner. One of the best meals I had.
My only nitpicks are the beds are too close together especially for such a big room and the draping around the bed is just a dust catcher and unnecessary. Also they should stop putting decorative velvet pillows (which r not cleaned) on the bed touching the bed pillows where guests will be putting their faces. Nothing should be on a hotel bed that hasn’t been washed.
I did have one issue at lunch where a server brought me the wrong dish (I assume because of the language barrier). Like everywhere in Morocco, smoking is allowed in outdoor restaurants which makes it hard to enjoy your meal. Perhaps one day they will change this.

Tucked into a downtown Art Deco neighbourhood, this warm and welcoming hotel is fully serviced with a traditional indoor dining room and also offers a lovely rooftop which serves food all day long. We ordered local Moroccan wine and beer (which was really very good), as well as light bites for lunch. We also ordered cocktails and beef tenderloin for dinner and it was some of the finest beef we've ever eaten. We stayed in two Executive rooms - one on our way to a tour and the other on our way back. Rooms are named, not numbered following the theme of the time and both the Charlie Chaplin and the Coco Chanel rooms were wonderful. Quiet, tastefully decorated and full of amenities, comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. All staff members were attentive and friendly and the spa arranged an incredible hammam on very short notice. They even packed a full breakfast for us as we had to depart for a very early flight - even it was plentiful and delicious. If you enjoy great service and being surrounded by classic elegance, then Hotel Le Doge is definitely worth consideration. Last thought - The lovely circular staircase ascends 5 stories to the rooftop, but there is an elevator.

Thank you Mohammed & all the Hotel Le Doge staff!! You made our return trip to Morocco even better than we could have imagined. Your attention to detail and our every need made us feel like royalty. The Riad is a stunning masterpiece from decor, restoration, food & friendly service. I can go on & on about the delicious food and ample breakfast. The claw foot tub was a pure treat & restored our feet for another day of 20,000 steps. The cold Coca-colas in the fridge, robes & slippers greatly appreciated & refreshing after walking all over Casablanca. Then we sank into the incredibly fluffy beds to sleep soundly. Even though we had selected the Le Doge's smallest rooms, they were very spacious. We talked about and compared all our remaining Riads to Hotel Le Doge. We will continue to compare all our future hotel accommodations to your beautiful & magical Riad.

Excellent relaid and chateaux property. It’s close to everything but on a quiet back street. It’s an oasis of calm in a frantic chaotic city. The antithesis of American chain hotels each room is unique and beautifully decorated . It’s an art deco dream. Service is excellent and attentive and the hotel is spotless. The roof top breakfast was good with more than enough variety. My only criticism is the bath tub shower. It’s steep getting in and out of the tub and I would have preferred a standard staff shower

I have the pleasure of suggesting Hotel Le Doge Relais & Châteaux to tourists looking for a distinctive and unforgettable experience in Casablanca in my capacity as a trip planner and driver/guide for regional travel firms. This hotel, which is located in an exquisitely renovated Art Deco structure, is charming and refined at every angle. The hotel's timeless elegance and deep history, from the antique furnishings to the old photos hanging on the walls, enthralled me during my stay. La Sultana's cuisine took me on a trip through Moroccan spices, and the staff's attentive care made sure that every detail of my visit was perfect. A remarkable find in the center of Casablanca, Hotel Le Doge provides an unmatched fusion of luxury

Hi, I used MasterCard, so not sure, but I would be very surprised if they didn’t accept Amex. I would email them for confirmation. The hotel should reply quite quickly. Good luck.

Actually we were in a room on the first floor and it paired with a second room and a separate entrance to both rooms - so technically I would have to say yes but not with a door leading directly into the other room - my sense is that there were several of those in the hotel
I do own or work at the hotel, only reviewed it. Having said that it has a very nice spa which we used (not large but very comfortable with proper massage). You cannot post paste addresses on the replies but if you type in hotelledoge in google you will see their website
