We were lucky enough to call at the last minute and get a room. Our room was clean and lovely. The bed was comfortable and the sheets soft. We had a private bathroom which was spacious and contained anything we would need @ soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed fresh berries, wonderful blackberry...

Marye is a gem and I miss her already! My husband and I stayed in the Blue Delft room. Our accommodation was very clean and included a small refrigerator, television, robes and a very comfy queen bed. The extra pillows and blankets are much appreciated. Although the bathroom is not attached to the bedroom, it is just a few steps...

We happened on this b and b during our second visit to Amana, we go several times a year for the theater, and return whenever Marye has room for us! Great location, comfortable rooms, use of the living room, dining room, porch when we need it, and a wonderful, wonderful owner. We have enjoyed each and every visit! The breakfasts...

First, I'm a big fan of places with rich history. Amana has it. Prairie Rose is a great place to stay. It's like a home away from home. The owner, Marye, treats all of her guests like life long friends. She provides a hearty, hot breakfast, paying special attention to any allergies a guest may have. We would definitely stay...

We had heard many good things about the Amana Colonies and thought it would be neat to stay here on our cross country vacation. This was our first stop from Northern Illinois so it only took us a few hours to get here. Marye was a very kind and welcoming innkeeper of Prairie Rose B&B. I was impressed she knew...

I've stayed at the Prairie Rose twice, once with a friend and once with my mother-in-law. Both times we had a very enjoyable stay. Marye, the owner, is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The fridge in our rooms had complimentary bottled water, and there were brownies and other treats in the kitchen. Marye made us delicious blackberry waffles for...

We were looking for an overnight in Amana, and we are so glad we found this place! Mary is so welcoming, and the house is so cozy. We loved the room, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was as good as could be - with fresh summer blackberries. I would return to this B&B for sure!

Remodeled historic building in the heart of Amana, Iowa, within walking distance to museums, shop, and restaurants. Wonderful room and a great breakfast. Marye was extremely welcoming. We'll stay again when in the area!

We loved this place! The location was perfect and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful! The room was great - with the exception of the low slanted ceiling. We had a rainstorm that night and our car got flooded - Mary provided us with cleanup tools and even helped bail! She was great in every respect. This is a delightful...
