Very clean, quiet location. One of the more reasonable places we have stayed in at Amana. We had almost everything we needed and a few we didn't (like mosquitos) .But all in all we would definitely stay there again.....

My wife and I met our daughter in the Amana Colonies for the weekend. I researched places to stay beforehand and read the reviews. I spoke with all of the owners of the B & B's trying to find the best fit for the 3 of us. Let me say this up front--all of the places are great! However, the...

Beautiful room with great decor. Host was very friendly and the location is prefect to walk around to the shops and restaurants. I bet the backyard will look amazing when everything is in bloom. Can't wait to come back.

This place never disappoints. Such a comfortable and convenient place to relax. Virginia is a gracious hostess and you really get a feel for the history of the property and area with modern conveniences to make this the perfect place to rest and recharge.

What a beautiful place to spend a few days away from the busyness of the cities! The accommodations are always fresh and clean. You can't get a hotel room suite with the same value for your money. It rained one of the mornings we were there, but the rooms were so quiet you could hardly hear the storm going on...

We arrived about 4 in the afternoon to find no one home. There was no note on the door telling us we could go to our room so we walked around Amana for a half hour or so until the owner came home from work. This is a converted house and due to having to amend our trip days, we...

This was my first experience with a b & b and I think it would be hard to top this one. The rooms were gorgeous and I loved the Jacuzzi tub!. The rate was very reasonable and it was so pleasant to have a porch looking out on a flower garden. Though the suite didn't have a refrigerator, there was...

What an incredible place to stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Could not have found a better place to stay in the Amanas! The quiet and peaceful atmosphere was hard to leave. We would have stayed another month if we could! For a relaxing and affordable place to stay book the Village Guest Suite! There's a beautiful and scenic garden...

Village Guest Suite is located in the Amana Colonies in Iowa. We had a small suite of two full rooms, another daybed in a small nook/hall and a bath with tub, but no shower. It was part of a larger suite that was joined to it by a locked door, so more room would have been available, if necessary, for...

My husband and I have been visiting the Amanas every February for over ten decades; always staying at one of the chains by the interstate and "doing" the Colonies from there. The in-town lodgings always looked a little worn down and we were skeptical. After viewing interior photos of the Village Guest Suite and reading recent reviews, we decided to...
