Stayed here a couple nights to visit the archeological sites in the area. Even the 'budget' rooms are really nice...staff friendly, most speak good functional English. Restaurant has really tasty local options so you can eat your way through a good number of excellently prepared dishes if you stay a few days. There is a lovely coffee shop/bakery next door...

The property is beautifully landscaped, very quiet and private. The rooms are spacious, clean and have very comfortable beds. Our room had a secluded terrace. The pool is large and welcome in the heat of the afternoon. Breakfast was extensive, with eggs cooked to order, fruit, yogurt and several hot buffet items as well as breads and muffins. Dinner was...

I stayed here with my mother in law and her sister. The hotel is beautiful and well located. As we were in Copan to see the ruins, this hotel was perfect to relax at afterwards. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were a good size though the bathroom could use some updating. The sauna...

Located within walking distance (or a tuk-tuk ride) from the famous Maya ruins of Copan, this hotel was my favorite on the trip. It's full of little nooks full of flowering plants and birds, has a nice pool and bar, and excellent food in the dining room. For meetings, it has a large room with chairs and a screen suitable...

We stayed in Copan Ruinas, Honduras for 3 nights in January. After visiting several hotels we chose to stay in Acropolis Maya. We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to all the tourist sites. The rooms are large and there are lovely public areas and balconies for socializing with other guests. The manager...

Our room had two verandas as we had a corner room. One looked over the pool which was pleasing. The buffet meals were very attractive and equally delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable.

We arrived late in the afternoon. Our room was located by the pool which was very noisy. There was a gap between the door and the door frame which allowed insects to get into the room. Any time someone used the hot water for a shower or to wash a annoying humming was heard in our room. This kept us...

The hotel is simply beautiful, as you will note as soon as you glimpse the deep blue pool below the intensely colored bougainvillea. The restaurant serves reasonably good local food with a very nice buffet on Sundays. There is bar, a fitness room and a whirlpool area. Some rooms have balconies with lovely views. No ATM on the premises but...

The room was large, if somewhat dark with heavy furniture. There was a colonial style roof fan and excellent aircon, but that was very noisy! There was free wifi in all the rooms and it worked very well. Nice bar and restaurant with very attractive gardens and nicely designed swimming pool. Excellent breakfast with waitress service.

This was a nice place to stay in Copan. Easy 3 minute tuk ride from the bus station, located right on the main plaza/square. Front desk was friendly, location perfect (Copan was really small, this was basically right in the center) and the breakfast that was included was good, with a nice selection of a few to choose from. The...
