We organised a shuttle and accommodation package from Antigua to Utila with and over night stay in a hostel in Copan so we had no idea what hostel we were staying at and wasn't expecting anything great but we were really pleasantly surprised when we turned up here! The travel company we booked through completely cocked up or booking and...

I stayed 3 nights in hostel berakah and could have stayed another! It's quite central, very close to parque central And the ruins. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm. It was clean, beds relatively comfortable. There is a fan. There is a nice common area with a pool table, hammocks and seats. There's also a terrace upstairs with a...

I just felt unwelcome in this place, they take only cash, and they charge a lot for every little thing! I don't suggest you to buy a tour from them, they would charge you more and send you to a different place that cost nothing! I'm glad I stayed there only one night.

I just returned from Copan which was exceptional which is also true of the Hostel Berakah. I'm an old guy but I enjoy hostel life for many reasons. The people you meet can be incredible and at times the facility it self can be a treat as was the case of Barakah. I enjoyed a private room with its own...

To be frank, I actually didn't stay here -- though I would have if I were staying in Copan for the night -- but I walked into this hostel because it was the most aesthetically appealing one in the main square ! I needed some help booking transportation from here to San Pedro because I was advised it was a...

Nice friendly staff who speak excellent English, the room we had was large and comfy, the bathroom was clean and the wifi was good both in the room and in common areas, the free breakfast was varied and very very tasty, the shared kitchen is clean and well equipped with cookware, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, grill, there's also a free...

Although a.simple breakfast is included, both rooms and bathroom are small. But for $9 i was not expecting more. I just did not like the lady in the front desk. For the room she made one exchange rate and for the excursion to the runs another one (do not take that tour. Is possible by your own). Besides that she...

Nice and quiet hostel, walking distance from central square and restaurants, bars. We had a room with no aircon and only one window, so airflow wasn't ideal, but the room was ok for the price. Tours to the ruins and to Macau mountain can be booked at reception.

Positives - clean, good location, kitchen, nice art work on the walls, comfy beds, busy (good socialising) Negitives - expensive (most expensive hostel we have stayed at in 4 months of travel), breakfast is small so you need to make your own separate one = not saving money, the dorm we start in and only had space for one bed...
