I read about this beautiful Hotel Boutique here on TA and I had the fortune of visiting Copan this December. It was simply marvelous. The people are soo nice, they have the perfect little coffee shop down stairs in which they serve the BEST moccachino and the BEST Carrot cake I've ever tasted. Also for the tourist you can find...

Rina is a wonderful host, she welcomed us with an enormous smile, knew exactly who we were when we arrived, and went out of her way to make us comfortable! She armed us with maps, good directions to the ruins, the right price for a ride back in a taxi, and the right price for a guide. The cafe downstairs...

This hotel is truly perfect. It is beautiful and comfortable! The rooms have great air conditioners, excellent bathrooms, and very comfy beds. Make sure you leave time to shop in the fabulous gift shops and have a cup of coffee in the cafe. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a little diamond in the rough! By this I mean not only the hotel but also the people who work there! This is an amazing hotel and you truly feel welcomed when you stay here. Our room was very rustic, charming and clean. Mostly it was the personal touch. After arrival, I realized that I left behind my Kindle...

I tried hard to find something wrong with this beautiful hotel but found nothing. It was beautiful, spotless, excellent furniture, clean linens - absolutely great. Rena was very pleasant. My spanish is about 60% and I really enjoyed talking to her. She helped us plan our days and in general everyone there was very nice. The cafe attached to the...

We located Yat B'alam on Tripadvisor and could not have made a better selection! The owners are so friendly and helpful not only with assisting us with locating our tour guide, Julio Melendez,,( who has worked on the Copan Archaeological site with the archaeological teams), but with general aid and directions. Rate this hotel five stars!

We stayed in Yat Balam for 2 nights whilst visiting the ruins of Copan and Yat Balam is by far the cleanest, nicest and most comfortable hotel we stayed in during our 10 days of travelling in Guatemala and Honduras. The hotel in a 2 minute walk to the Parque Central in Copan and literally a few steps from some...

The Y'at Balam was an absolute Haven. Are there more than 5 stars I can offer? The entire staff is supremely friendly, and Rena, the owner, is a wonderfully charming woman. This was our last hotel and it was a luxurious cap to the trip. In fact, we just wanted to hang out there because it was so comfortable and...

Great location, wonderful amenities, and an AMAZING staff. Yat B'alam was perfect for us on our trip. It's not luxury; however, it has all the amenities you could ask for: air conditioning, cable TV, cafe, and cute little shops on the bottom area. The hotel also has a back-up generator for when the power turns off (Yes, the power does...

This was a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend it. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and seemed eager to help - they even asked if I had any recommendations for improvements they could make - they seemed to genuinely care about your stay. You can walk from here to the ruins in...
