I stayed in this hotel as part of a group. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, which I actually hadn't expected. There was hot coffee in the morning and purified water the rest of the day. The owner and manager, Carman, was very focused on the comfort of her customers. There are two young women who work... Best hotel near public beach, good price, air conditioner, rooms up to 3 bed (6 people could fit) Clean, no breakfast, no TV, no wifi. Its only a good hotel so you can sleep after partying all night. Doña Carmen is the owner very nice lady, take the rooms upstairs that way you avoid being welcome my crabs hehe in... More

We had a great experience. Miss Carmen, the owner and manager, is very focused on taking care of the customer. Our experience was in one of her Oceanside cottages. It was spacious , clean, and comfortable. The front porch overlooking the bay is very relaxing. We happened to bring our own hammocks and we found that there were already hooks... More

Located on the main drag but several blocks removed from the heart of the village, the hotel is removed from some of the unpleasant noise and smells of the more congested area. The wrap around porches on both the bottom and upper floors are wonderful to relax on and take in the breeze which seems to constantly be moving the... More

I rented a cabin by the sea and it was wonderful. Enjoyed the porch most of all. Solo female traveler and felt very safe. Cabin is very basic, but comfortable. Bedroom faces street so some nights were a little noisy but not bad. Miss Carmen is a wonderful woman, enjoyed our chats. I would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here only one night (time did not allow us more unfortunately) October 21, 2014, and enjoyed it very much. We had room on the water just back from the seawall in front. This room is upstairs, but no downstairs room, so a bit different than the 2 story part of the hotel across the road... More

Very simple and authentic utilian hotel, great attention by its owner. Margarita bay is clean two minutes from utilas best beach and it has a very nice deck and restaurant to drink margaritas watching the sun go down in this paradise island. Thank you very much for everything.

I stayed in a downstairs room and found it very noisy from the room upstairs, people moving chairs on the deck above (at 3am) and from the road. The aircon cost an additional $20/night but was ineffective. My room was basic and not particularly clean. Although the owners were easy going and helpful, I felt the room was over-priced for...
