I've stayed at the Turquoise Bay only for 3 days but I'm still delighted. The beach is absolutely gorgeus, the rooms were big with and amazing view of the beach. If you plan to have a good rest, peace and a stress-free vacations, this is IT. I was a bit scared since I traveled solo, but everybody at the hotel...

Pros: The people are nice here. You may be offered a welcome drink. Cons: The rooms are outdated. The restaurant isn't all that great. Small menu and they have an option of choosing fried foods and hamburgers or their buffet for $17.00. The towels are torn and dingy, pillows are flat with lint. Bathrooms aren't cleaned well, hair left in...

Hi Lyricspoetic, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! It's truly great feedback to read (and makes us somewhat proud) that it's us, the management, the ones that are falling back behind compared to the great customer service our staff is delivering. Although that doesn't mean actions are not taken regarding the issues mentioned, it's just...

Went here with friends in August 2014. Most of the rooms have a nice bay/ocean view. Room was clean and simple and had a safe and good hot water. TV was a little fuzzy. NO telephone (nice!) but there is wi-fi which worked pretty well everywhere. This resort is on a more secluded part of the north side of the...

Hello Maguson, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We appreciate your comments on our staff and all the positive notes; we’ll share with them and try to keep it up. Let me make a couple of comments on your diving experience. Regarding the boats, we indeed have been having some trouble, right now we have...

I just spent a week at Turquoise Bay (0812AUG2014) and had an absolute blast. The food we were served was very good and very abundant. There was always someone in the AM preparing eggs & omelets to go along with the fresh fresh, fried potatoes, pancakes, etc. Dinner had someone behind the grill preparing fish, chicken, beef or pork and...

We chose Turquoise Bay because of its beautiful sandy beach. We knew the food would be sub-par but it was down right awful. Eating frozen popcorn shrimp, buffet dinner was uninspired and after 3 days felt the same each night. There were several times that I ordered a beer at the bar (which is indoors) and it took 15min to...

If you're looking for a REAL vacation (away from the noise, traffic, solicitors on the beach, loud parties and a DJ in the pool), this is the place! The staff couldn't have been nicer (I know them all by name) or more accommodating. The rooms are not fancy, but very clean and well-maintained. I traveled here alone (female) and felt...

My husband I I spend a night here. The road down to the resort was gravel and could have used some work. The rooms are all a distance from the main office so you have a way to travel with your suitcase, gear, etc. The front desk will arrange for someone to bring your items to/from your room. The rooms...

My mother and I had heard great things about the reef and diving in Roatan, so we made our first trip and stayed here. It was like staying with family...nothing fancy, personalized and people cared to serve and know you. All our needs were met and then some. We had amazing views of the ocean from our villa and enjoyed...

What a wonderful time! The place is beautiful, quiet and way off the beaten path. If you want great diving and a remote island vacation, this is your place. The dive crew really spoils you with their full service attention. The rooms are clean and the place is secure. They feed you 3 meals a day and the food is...

This was a diving vacation for our entire family. We had never been to Roatan so this was new for everyone. I am sorry to say it was not the best vacation. The diving was average. Divemaster advised the sealife has been over fished. That was clearly evident. The coral was very healthy. The dive boats were not in the...
