We had a great stay at the Media Luna in Roatan Honduras. This is a great relaxing all inclusive resort. The staff is very friendly. Weather is great and if you want a nice relaxing location without the hordes of people on the beach this is the place for you. Snorkelling right off the beach. The food is good and...

We spent 2 weeks here (Jan 16-30, 2017) and let me just start by saying if I could go back tomorrow, I would. It's "rustic" but I've paid more to rent worse cottages in Muskoka. It is not at all accessible, so if you have mobility issues, consider somewhere else on Roatan. Let me be clear though, our lovely little...

Overall the resort was great! Like anywhere you stay there are always good points and a few minor negatives, but I can say this hotel was wonderful. The little private cabins were beautiful, and i would highly recommend spending a few extra dollars to get an ocean front. We were located down near the dive shop which was quiet, very...

We stayed at Media Luna as the first week of an all inclusive vacation on Roatan that provided the opportunity to stay at two different resorts, one week at each. Our second week was spent at Henry Morgan Resort which, although owned and managed by the same organization, is in many respects quite different from Media Luna. Compared to other...

Media Luna Resort Our trip to Media Luna in Roatan Honduras began unfortunately with an Air Transat flight from Toronto. When will this airline learn (or do they even care) that sardine can flying just doesn’t cut it. When you sit in an airplane in an upright position your knees should not touch the seat in front of you. And...

Flew here with Air Transat where the squeeze you in so tight there is not much room, then when you get an inconsiderate person who has to put their seat back it gets worse but never mind that .Roatan a very poor country, the road to the resort was in pretty bad shape,The grounds are very nice, the snorkling off the beach is...

Media Luna is wonderful, whomever picked the location was a genius. you get a really nice cabin that is not attached to any others, some cabins are close to the restaurant and can be loud until 1030 ish. I Loved this resort and would only wish for a bit better food. I have already told many people to go here...

Traveled to Media Luna with my wife, after getting bumped from Parrot Tree, by Transat. The van ride from the airport was fine, just expect a very rough road into the resort. We were greeted by a welcoming crew with drinks and pirate costumes. This is a much smaller resort than we have been at and certainly more “rustic”. Check...

Our room was very large, comfortable and clean with a large covered wooden deck that had a hammock. to chill in. The grounds were well maintained with scenic winding pathways throughout the property leading to the rooms. The food was typical of a Caribbean inclusive resort and all the staff were friendly and courteous. Bring your own Imodium should the...

The resort is situated around 40 min from the airport. Only cabins which need to be renovate - no discussion. They are not super clean at all. And yes, two first days we got cockroaches - thanks to advice on Trip Advisor we took supplies and after using them cockroaches gone. Take your own shampoo and body wash - they...
