Set with an amazing view over the bay, this hotel has amenable staff, spacious rooms (with efficient AC) and a great pool area (the pool is a good size, at least 20 metres). We were going to stay two nights but ended up staying for four! The only downside was the food - breakfast was a luke warm buffet and...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the pool was really nice. We were in Livingston for 4 nights, and I don't think we could have handled it if we didn't have the awesome pool to chill out in, away from the hustlers and strange smells. The view from our 2nd floor...

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was simple but clean and with a lovely view of the sea. However, I could hear the guests upstairs as they moved chairs, took showers etc. The restaurant serves good seafood and there is good Garifuna entertainment if there are groups in the hotel. Breakfast is disappointing, largely because the food...

This hotel is surely not a 4* Hotel.I think I would give +2*.We stayed here with a group begin November, The sheets on our bed was dirty and had a big yellow spot (???), on it.The airco was VERY noisy. In the reception the lady only understood Spanish and the manager was surely not friendly. .The food was not warm and...

My family and I travelled to Livingston in early July and had no other plans to stay anywhere else other than the Villa Caribe. As always, we received nothing but the best services from check-in to the last minute of our stay. Hats off to Manfred, who ensured that our stay and that of other visiting family members was nothing...

We stayed here for 3 nights during our round trip through Guatemala/Belize and we liked it a lot even if we did not like Livingston that much. Our bungalow was huge, clean and had a great view of the sea, so we would definitely recommend to go for a bungalow instead of a standard room. The garden and pool is...

A unique and fun location, balmed in its own warm tropical air. The rooms and restaurant 'fall-out' over the bay as boat taxis and shrimp boats journey to and fro. The hotel itself is utilitarian but has everything going for it. Our only caveat is the self imposed caricature that the Manager Manfred presents of himself ...... He plays the...

Deffinetly a place to be when you go to Livigston. We receive one of the casitas with the balcony facing the bay. The reccomandation of other tripadvisor visitors were helpful and indeed the view from this room is unobstructed and magnificent. Especially to wake up in the morning and seat on thebalcony watching the sun rays playing with the water...

Just returned from a fantastic 8 days in Belize and Guatemala. We ended our journey in Livingston, Guatemala and could not have been happier with our choice of the Hotel Villa Caribe. We originally had booked for only one night, but after experiencing such a lovely hotel and dining in the fabulous restaurant, we extended our stay. Ending our vacation...

Just got back from a two week visit to Guatemala and have to say it was time well spent. Livingston was the last leg of our vacation before returning home and wasnt really sure about where to stay there that wouldnt hurt our budget. We were told of a promotion offered by Villa Caribe and didnt hesitate to take up...
