We came for drinks and some dinner and had a great time. The service was great and it's a nice location to hang out. The food was great and the menu had a nice selection. I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on that but the staff was nice and friendly and the service was great.

Most expensive hotel so far in Guatemala but the worst and most basic with no hot water, unhelpful staff and very loud, nauseating music in restaurant which reverberates throughout the building. Situated on the wrong side of large, busy bridge with trucks passing all day/night with noisy air brakes. Only good point is view from restaurant over river.

After reading some bad reviews about this hostel, we arrived and stayed at a double private room. The room was great, with hot showers and at a good price. It was a bit small but airy. Yes, the dorm room is crowded, with cold shower and no lockers but it is very very cheap. The hostel has a beautiful view...

To be fair food was tasty. Main problem was staff did not seem to trained well or given authority to deal with issues. Ordered an extra portion of chips and 9 chips were delivered. When this was pointed that the extra portion was ridicously small and very expensive at Q12...nobody seemed to know how to resolve...as all were employees.....:-) seems...

For very basic, no-frills, beds, this is the place to be. The dorms are the simplest you'll come by and packed to the gills - and even top sheets and pillows cost extra - but one can't beat the price! And the wonderful reataurant across the way makes up for the intermittent boat noise (as one is on -- literally...

This place is run by Casa Guatemala which is a children's village providing education, nutrition, and health care for the vulnerable children of the remote and impoverished. We had an air conditioned double room which was comfortable and clean. The food was brilliant as they catered so very well for me as I have coeliac disease. You are also supporting...

I will start by saying, my standards of accommodations are pretty low.. with years of travelling through many types of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses.. This was my worst experience. Yes, it was the cheapest option, and honestly for just one night as we were passing through, it was manageable, but you couldn't have paid me to stay a second night....

Where to start. We arrived late on a Saturday night after travelling all day, check in was just way too much effort. Reception staff didn't speak a word of English(yes it's their country, & it's bad that we didn't have time to learn their language before we came out here, but surely when dealing with internationals on a daily basis...

This is a very cheap place and perfect for a one night stand if you are traveling or visiting Rio Dulce. Bed and bathroom were really bad but it is what you are paying. Staff was very kind, they answered all questions gladly. Location is perfect (just below rio Dulce bridge)

To begin with: lots of bugs, and when I say this I am 100% clear that this is an "Eco-Friendly Hotel" I would at least expect it to be clean, we had to clean our own room twice in a day since a stupid amount of some sort of mosquitoes were in our room. We had cockroaches in our room,...
