Though the location of the hotel is good, it seems to be an old one. The rooms are large but the infrastructure is rickety and sometimes the noise level is high. There is a paid basic breakfast (better to eat outside)

The Kakchiquel Hotel is located in the main street of Panajachel. The room is quite large with two ¾ beds and was clean but rather dark. There is no safe but there is free drinking water available. The WIFI worked well throughout the hotel. There is a small pool which we did not get a chance to use.

Medical mission, so was stuck in a room with 2 roommates. Pool looked sketchy, shower was mostly warm, bed was comfortable enough. Sheets were never changed, but they did make the bed. LOUD EVERY MORNING. Roosters all time of night. Workers right below window at 6am playing music and making a lot of noise.

Panajachel is a very Windy City there for is very uncomfortable to stay in a place that every single door shakes and bangs all night it rattles like giant maraca. Thanks that I was traveling solo because the shower drain very slow. Breakfast was nice and fast

On our 16 night tour through Central America this was the worst night. ZERO hot water and little to no sleep due to the noise level inside and outside the hotel. Nobody in our group got any sleep. The hotel managers also allow the street hawker to come into the lobby and restaurant area and harass customers.

Unfortunately this hotel disappointed on a few major fronts which has resulted in this low score. The main problem was the noise from the street. I was located on a room on the second floor facing the main road. I had trouble sleeping due to the sound of the traffic and tuk tuks which sounded like they were in the...

One of the poorest hotels that I've stayed in. The bathroom was very weak and the toilet flush did not work. Refrained from taking a shower. Breakfast was also poor. Could not sleep enough due to children shouting until 10 pm. I would not recommend anyone to stay unless this is your last option on your way to the Lake...

You tend to get what you pay for in Guatemala, but thought "not so much here." I think if the place were cheaper than what it is, it would be fine. I travel to Guatemala frequently and have stayed in the full range of hostels and hotels. We had roaches in our room, and the shower was completely disgusting and...

Stayed here for just the one night thank goodness! Got in to the room and the towels were dirty they had marks on them and still had hair from previous guests. The beds were also not clean. When we complained at the front desk they would not give me a new towel unless we showed them the other one and...

This is an adequate hotel for a visit to Panajachel. It is conveniently located on the main street, walking distance to restaurants and all the shopping. Just a few blocks to the water's edge. It was clean but very plainly furnished.
