Jeannette and her husband are terrific hosts and so helpful and friendly. The rooms are simple yet adequate and they offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport but only for international arrivals and departure. I felt right at home there and the welcome extended is a really friendly one. Can highly recommend

Good hotel, 5 minutes' drive from the airport. They picked me up from the airport on time - a guy with a sign with my name on it picked me up. It's clean, has hot showers and nice pancakes & fruit for breakfast. The owner likes to collect things so the hotel is full of weird and wonderful things to...

We came to Guatemala City in the 5 AM bus coming from Flores. We came straight to the hotel - They were super nice, fixing us breakfast and gave us the room in early check-in with no extra charge. Tomorrow were leaving early in the morning (again 5AM) and the owner offered to give us a ride to the airport(!)...

We love this place. The atmosphere is homey -- go figure, it's a home. It has a great covered patio outside and a conversation area inside on the second level as well as a comfortable living area on the main floor. The owners are very helpful with all travel issues. It is not within walking distance to a place to...

First of all I want to say that you have to stay here because the owner is an absolute star. We stayed here at the start of our trip and had booked to stay again before heading back but on our return there was a problem with the room (no electricity) so the owner picked us up from the airport,...

4 of us spent one night here, after 2 days in Tikal, before our flight home. It was like being at "grandpa's house", older furniture and filled of souvenirs from around the world. Delightful older man greeted us when we arrived late (our Tikal tour had provided us with transfers), and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our rooms were...

Just stayed here one night before an early morning flight out of the airport. It's a large house converted to a B&B, and it's in a gated neighborhood near the airport. Our room was huge and had a very nice bathroom. There is also a very nice terrace for guests upstairs. There are several convenience stores within walking distance for...

He took me to the hotel quickly (it's close to the airport) ; the hotel is located in a safe area. The owners were nice. The room was clean and simple. I recommend Mariana's Petit Hotel for a...
