We loved the private bungalows at the hotel. We stayed in No. 1, and our view wasn't the best, but we still really enjoyed it. Our room was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our day at the spa and pool facilities. They were very clean and nice. We both got massages and our nails done. It was very...

Not the first time we have visited hotel, but first time we have stayed over night. Though well intentioned, the staff overall lacks the training and skills to accommodate seasoned travelers. Our massages and spa appointments were scheduled outside of check in and check out times. On an overnight trip this was a significant inconvenience. Food menu offers a continental...

My husband and I booked an anniversary special for one night. We arrived at around 7:00 p.m. We were greeted at the front desk and made a prompt check-in. It all went downhill from there. We left our suitcases in the room and went to the restaurant to have dinner, we were starving. We ordered a cheese platter, a veggie...

Absolutely gorgeous pool facilities, I love spending the day here. The hot tub is delicious and its easy to spend an hour in there looking at the view. I recommend the massages really highly, but not so much manicures or pedicures. Its hard not to feel like there is huge potential here but that some key details are missing (hairdryers,...

Dear Zoe Louise08, I apologize for the delayed reply. My friends and I went to San Gregorio for the spa because our hotel didn't have one. We got facials which were great and massages which were really just oil being rubbed all over our bodies, not so much a massage. The locker rooms were nice except for the lockers. It was a very neglected corner of the hospital. There's...

Just spent our anniversary here for two nights. It was wonderful!!!!! Even though it rained a lot we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the pool, saunas, both dry and wet, and the wonderful masages. The food at the restaurant was gourmet. They take an average dish and elevate it so well. The breakfasts were great and the dinner and sandwiches also. The...

I have spent the last 48 hours at San Gregorio. All my senses have been stimulated in a VERY positive way. My hubby yanked me out of my everyday life and brought me here to relax and RELAX I HAVE. Sight: the view of Lake Amatitlan, the volcanoes and nearby towns is breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful. Hearing: No kids,...

This place being so close to central Guatemala City is a blessing! The pool is especially stunning, being able to swim from outside will always be a novelty! The hot tub is HOT and I am a big fan. The reception and the restaurant staff are awesome and very attentive, but the spa staff are not so friendly and in...

Went there for our aniversary for a day spa. The spa is nice, the food was good and the view is breathtaking, but the staff was amateurish at best. They did not know what the specialty drink is, they did not know what our package included, we were greeted with welcome pay now, so my companion knew exactly how much...

I Love the scenery of the Hotel. They have a very romantic deck, it is quiet & really great to stay. Includes Spa services, jacuzzi, massage. Really nice for an event for 40, 12, a breakfast for two =0) One of my favorites.
