My husband and I booked the room facing the garden with a large balcony because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! Don Pedro and his family were gracious hosts and catered to our every need. Our room #7 was large, clean,...More
Rooms are huge with fireplaces for when it gets chilly and are beautifully decorated with strong local character. The well kept rooms and communal areas, amazing garden at the rear, are all maintained by the friendliest of hosts. Very close to the central market. No...More

Do a search of Trip Advisor or Google Posada El Arco. A photo of their business card comes up in Trip Advisor. Call them and talk to Pedro. He speaks English. Guatemala is on Central Time. Hope this helps.

Sorry I can't really help with a phone or address... we never make reservations, preferring to actually lay eyes on the room before signing up! It really was a good stay. If you can't get hold of them and are not arriving at a peak time (Day of the Dead, Christmas, Easter...) it would be worth doing a walk up.
Enjoy your trip!

As I recall, it is not. They do have free coffee in the morning. The owner lives upstairs and might be willing to prepare breakfast for a small cost. He and I got to be friends and I was able to get breakfast there one morning - eggs, toast, marmalade, fruit. Just ask him.
