We have traveled to northern Belize several times and always stay at Hotel de la Fuente. The staff is so attentive and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel is very modern and the beds at extremely comfortable. Great price per night and safe with an off street parking so you never have to worry about your rental...

On a brief stop in Orangewalk to change the bus from Corozal to Sarteneja we wanted to change US dollars into Belize dollars. It seemed to us that there were no money exchange places and the bank was closed on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm. Yvan of the Hotel de la Fuente was the only person who was willing to...

Even though I arrived at the hotel at 0600, I was invited in and made welcome. The place was busy, since the USAF occupied a number of the rooms. They offer a little buffet breakfast between 7 and 9 AM. They have a helpful local map available, too. I had a standard room with a double bed. Unfortunately, because of...

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We were lucky enough to stay in one of their newly built cabins by the river and it was a great experience! The cabin was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, and the nice cold a/c was great after a hot steamy day outside. The staff was very helpful in setting up...

We spent four nights here and sort of made it our base camp for exploring the area and it was a great experience. We arrived very early the first day and even though we had not officially checked in they still offered us free breakfast. That set the tone for the level of service you find here. Any time we...

The owners of this hotel were very friendly and helpful, both when I was emailing to book and arrange a day trip with them, and when we arrived. The hotel is small and personal. The room was also quite small, but comfortable and functional. Water and fruit are provided, and basic breakfast snacks. There was wifi in the room. We...

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful, the tours they offered were good. There was a minor flaw in the tour to the community baboon sanctuary. There is another local spot right before the real one run by 2 rasta brothers. We went there and had a good experience but it was not what we were...

This hotel was the best hotel I visited during my travels all over the country...including stays in San Ignacio, Orange Walk and Punta Gorda. But even without comparing to any other hotel in the country, or elsewhere in the world, this place is simply fantastic. Very, very highly recommended for the ease with booking, the quality of the room and...

We stayed here for 3 nights, on the second floor facing the parking area. The room was very clean, with A/C, wifi and a continental breakfast included. It was great at the end of the day to lounge on the deck area with a cold beer and re-visit the days events. The staff were excellent, assisting where they could when...

We didn’t stay here, and so normally I wouldn’t comment. But we were so impressed with the staff that it felt only right to leave a review. We arrived in Orange Walk at six o’clock in the morning after an overnight bus ride down from Mexico. With almost everywhere still closed, we needed to kill a couple of hours until...
